Oh, I'm sorry, some of us payed for the game. So we can play without Hamachi.

Re: Sins of a Solar Empire
So, it turns out Pat wasn't just crazy about SoaSE updating. I am now running Trinity 1.37, which probably means I can't play with you guys unless you have it too. Which you didn't as of last week.
Avenger, that's more than a little insulting. As far as I know everyone here paid for the game. We use Hamachi because it is convenient, not because it is required.

Re: Sins of a Solar Empire
He's right actually. My copy of Rebellion was copied over from my Dads computer (he pirates most of his games). It was an ISO that I had to mount onto a virtual "fake" CD. Seemed legit at the time. Anyways, I don't think I can update because of it.Avenger_7 wrote:Oh, I'm sorry, some of us payed for the game. So we can play without Hamachi.

Throw the commies in the drink so my country can be free!
Re: Sins of a Solar Empire
There was a topic about it on the last forum, something like three people had payed for Trinity. Everyone else pirated it.

When you go to make an accusation, it's probably a good idea to have evidence to present alongside it.
I don't know about anyone else, but I bought a used copy of Trinity that Stardock didn't want to transfer to my account with them. I still had a fully functional copy of the original Sins on said account, so I tried to copy over the expansion packs from a torrent in the hopes that it'd work, and it did: I just don't have access to stardock's online multiplayer service for Diplomacy & Entrenchment (synonymous with 'Trinity')
Though it's beyond me what this has to do with your Rebellion noobishness

Re: Sins of a Solar Empire
I fail to see what's wrong with Rebellion. I picked it up when it was on sale, and I still have the original game (Separately installed of course.) If rebellion is THAT bad, then I feel bad for you.
Or if you are asking If I have no idea what i'm doing, then the answer is yes.

Naw, I'm just trying to promote Trinity elitism through discriminating against new playersProfessor Fenway wrote:I fail to see what's wrong with Rebellion. Truth be told, though, I don't think I'll ever understand the big hooplah about Rebellion. I committed an act that shall not be mentioned on this forum to get it, and there were only new sounds, new shaders, new ships...if I didn't know better I'd liken it to MW3 in terms of what little improvements I saw from prior titles (MW2, Trinity).
