See I'm just getting disgusted by people who tell thel ie is a norm. Again have a look at any of the places I've told you and tell me if those people lied to you all the time , good now go ahead and go talk with people you know , how many times will they lie to you ? Granted, most people here do not lie to each other in most cases. I was merely stating the statistical fact that a stranger will tell an average of ten lies, will everyone do it? No. Should you lie? No, I am saying lying is merely signs of intellect due to the extra processes your brain has to do to come up with a lie. Was anything I said not true? Absolutely not. And like I said, that average lies is just that, an average. Was it wrong of me to lie to you all? Yes. And you, Iv, is the only person so far to take it to this. Also, a lie can be anything to a highly elaborate multi-lives con to a simply exaggeration. People who describe lying as not being good are generally not in the same camp as those who think lying is good, IE I don't believe lying is a good thing.

Now you tell me no one here has lied to any degree anywhere here besides those topics where a lie is in no way needed.

If you pay attention to the wording, it would make a bit more sense. What I intending for the meaning of that sentence was to say that a topic where a lie of any degree is even applicable (EG, Tips for Games) should not be taken into account as they do not allow a lie to be used even barely effectively.

RP is tactics and tactics are built on deception, yet even there I haven't seen a single lie yet. And yes there is no topic in here that you NEED to lie . This topic became pointless, don't want to don't do it, your loss, the whole fact this place exists is a proof you don't lie, that lies are not acceptable in this community and I want you to realise that, the rest will do itself.

RP is just that - you're playing a role sprung from the depths of your imagination, and describing your actions in said role. Lying would be saying you're Israel Voldman and are an officer of a nonexistent military organization, yet so far no one has actually used their real names in the characters they create, for good reason.

Hey I'm not an officer ... yet. the empire RP is rather different - it is about trying to take over the other nations, just like any tactical game you need to lead your opponent to think one thing while doing the other, that or try to overwhelm him ... I don't think there is any nation that can do it yet.

You are allowed your own beliefs on lying and meeting and talking to people on the Internet. Iv, Maybe I'm misreading your posts, but you seem to be taking issue witht he idea that people lie on the Internet.
Humans are horrible terrible self-centered beings that can lie quite easily. I'm not saying they always do, I'm saying they can.

If you dislike how interpersonal relations work here, Iv, you're free to try and change that. Get in touch with folks over Skype or something. Chat with them by VOIP. whatever. Just please, PLEASE, cease this pointless debate over humanity's honesty.
