bronys. why?

Post by CommanderKobialka » Mon Feb 04, 2013 1:02 am

The internet has seen an influx of bronys in it's populations. However, I never really cared to find out what exactly a "brony" is other than a little creepy. I would google it but I want to hear your opinions.

Nobody knows. I suspect there are subliminal messages at work.

An experiment of the US government in zombifying subjects and a direct continuation of the experiment to effect Hitler's gender with pheromones back in WW2.

In other words, teenage boys who like a show meant for 5-year old girls.

I saw an episode, and it was decent. The purple one was having a mental breakdown because nobody needed her help for anything, and the whole thing was played for laughs. It was kind of funny.

But yeah, regardless of demographic, the zealotry that show gets is something I can't understand.
Maybe it's the idea of being different which appeals to them, knowing that they are not supposed to like it, and that this is a sort of counterculture. Those, at least, have been around since forever, and as far as they go, MLP isn't all that wierd by comparison.

To be fair, most of the why god why stuff airs in the early morning slots (we're taling 1-3 am), and its primary revenue comes from DVD sales, where they can get away with things they can't on broadcast TV. The mainstream stuff is almost all kid-oriented.

Ookay.

Bronies are people who enjoy watching My Little Pony. I would say that they get a bad name from a small bunch of them who do the crazy stuff and are stereotyped by folks like Iv.

I don't mind bronies, but I am equinophobic, but MLP doesn't bother me much, though peeps think it does.
However there are always the few that make a bad name

And your avatar doesn't at all remind me of a shipping fanfic.
