Well considering we all thought you're a man up until a few days ago ...
I guess it is my turn. When some foreigners hear my name for the first time they are a little confused, this way I know who knows a bit of what is going on in the bible and who doesn't
. As you may have guessed my name is biblical (I was given it in the name of one of my great grandfathers though). One night on Jacob's return to Canaan (the area where today's Israel is) a mysterious man appeared in front of him. He fought the man and they both fought until the sunrise and when the dawn finally came and the man saw he could not defeat Jacob he stepped back and said that from now on his name will not be Jacob anymore but the one who laid down god (or prevailed against god), or in Hebrew - Israel. That is what said the angel and walked away , guess you know now why I'm so stubborn
