I believe you that you´re female.
After all, that´s the great part of the internet: You can be who you want. (of course, it´s only great as long as you remember that goes for everyone else as well, but that should be obvious...)
Noone should be discriminated because of making use of that right.
If CvN says she is female, she is. Noone can prove her wrong or right, so I highly suggest leaving her to be female if that´s what she wants.
Again: THIS IS THE BLOODY INTERWEBZ! I say I´m male, you can´t prove it nor disprove it. You should equally respect CvN for saying she´s female!

Well for me it doesn’t matter because English is one of the few languages where it doesn't matter if you are a male or a female - there is no difference between male and female forms of words, like teacher for example. I guess I do believe you because as a man you sometimes act quite odd
