Well, aside from AI Consensus (which we are obviously incapable of doing) there is no such thing as a perfect system of government. Our current system only works well on a very small scale, and with a highly intelligent population. Unfortunately, the vast majority of people are unbelievably stupid, and we're applying it on a massive scale. I still believe in leadership by merit - you have to earn the right to have authority, not just have it given to you by corporate backing/daddy's money. And of course, that doesn't really work well with any form of modern government at all :P
