There is no need in that HUD like thing. It doesn't make the cockpit look better and just blocks vision and looks odd. It's fine without one.

yeah, the alpha omega thing or whatever its called can go (the one on the top) however I think I could make the other one look good, and view there is already obstructed anyway.

Your cabin is quite good and doesn't take too much space on the screen. If you make the player sit higher so that the panel goes lower (or lower it ofc) you will gain a lot of FoV without ruining the look. It's is good as it is.

its quite difficult to get the correct height at this point, but it'll be the same as what I use in the AF-15

not necessarily, the models would act as blocks, blocks are models too, all we need to do is alter what model a certain block does, so long as the ship isn't spazzing anyway it should work.

cockpits could be the equivalent of ship cores for small craft

I might experiment with other modular parts, but that'll come later.

Modular things should come first and foremost. (For cockpits, think an interface like in Steve's Carts 2)

I'd prefer a pure entity approach from a technical standpoint. World proxies have much more overhead.

No lol, the cockpi is a fighter in progress, I just stuck it on a dropship made of blocks for the lols.
