He should release a helicopter-option for models, most models that don´t work like they´re supposed to are because they´re helicopters acting like planes.

I think he has been asked before, and apparently someone is working on an extension to his mod that would allow this

Also, I've decided I'm not going to be beaten by ground vehicles, I'm going to do what I've been saying I've been going to do, and make a tank

I am going to call it the W.O.M.B.A.T. (Weaponised ordnance main battle and assault tank, until I can find a better thing for the W and the O)

Should be about 3 blocks wide, and 8+steves height blips tall, the drawing isn't scaled very well, it's just for rough reference.

Oh and the rocket pod and little MG should move up and down with the turret.

And those pods and MG are put into the slots for MGs on the vehicle building screen, right?

Don't know yet, I may make a multi purpose turret item that use, so that it will take rocket ammo and MG ammo as well as tank ammo, it would do that anyway, but this way looks cooler.

But there are no slots for MGs on the vehicle crafting bench, what I'll do is make it so you craft a rocket launcher and an MG and craft it with a standard turret to get a multi-purpose turret.

Are you certain? I thought you could craft a tank with an MG just like a plane. I remember this because when you do so they shoot backwards and damage your own tank. Has Flan fixed this by removing that option entirely?

I have no idea how to make the body look good in Techne, I may have to do some stuff through the java file, but thats fine, I find that better than Techne

and I have no idea about the MG thing, again, I'm a plane guy, I didn't really look much at the tanks

and the rotation points are screwed, not to worry, this is easy to fix, maybe
on the plus side, the rocket pods and such work fine

EDIT: yes this is easy to fix, same problem I had with the MMD model, only with more shapes

EDIT2: fixed, everything rotates perfectly

Ah yes, I think I know what you mean
However on this one the MG will be bolted on anyway, it'll be the turret, so for the recipient the MG will be part of the turret.

Also, after adding a few shapes, it is actually starting to look fairly good, at the moment I could get away with it if I used a really good texture, but I'm going to refine it some more.
