so a pattroling mother hours away from home [mere hours] would go directly home if someone gets bored or wants something else
in the middle of a persuit or a conquest i dont think so

Re: cryo sleep
Yeah, that didn't make any sense.
I still don't like the idea of a dreamworld, or remote controlling some other body. Possibly you can set autopilot to go somewhere and log out and the ship will go about its business without you onboard. During that time you could play as an alt if you wanted. I really don't think this is as big an issue as it is being made out to be.

Re: cryo sleep
Why would someone get bored in the middle of a hunt-kill mission? That's like the epitome of action. I can see someone getting bored while on a patrol or some other tedious thing, but they need to just deal with it because there are stiff penalties for insubordination.joykler wrote:so a pattroling mother hours away from home [mere hours] would go directly home if someone gets bored or wants something else

Re: cryo sleep
two dreadnaughts with almost same speed miles apart only after eachoter for their goal
[these things will happen often]
but it wont be very exiting
and putting it on automatic pilot would make ghost ships fly around without a crewmember and it might fly around for days without anyone that looks after it

Re: cryo sleep
You forgot the part where the first one leaves behind mines, fighters and corvettes and the chaser fires lasers at the first.

Re: cryo sleep
Three hours for interstellar travel? No. It should take time, maybe a half hour AT MOST, but not 3 hours.joykler wrote:sorry but since when did fueling up take 3 hours

Alright. Jumping across the galaxy should take less time than it should take to cross the map in a flash in PS2.
