You're churning out ships like a machine. And what's scary is that they look good!
I see that you used a few basic shapes, stuck them together to make a decent form, then added a few details using MCedit, and a bit of block-placing. All up, I'd estimate less than an hours work for something that'd take me around 6 hours, and look no better (although probably a lot more detailed. Not better though).
This is a signature.

Also, MAC is an acronym for Mass Accelerator Cannon. Calling it a MAC implies that it is a Cannon that Accelerates Mass at its target. I have no idea how it could accelerate a mass of lasers, but I would love to read the science fiction your write to explain it! ^-^
i am awful at writing fluff :D Maybe the lasers genorate a giant ball of massively superheated plasma before a magnetic feild shoots it at the target? Im not sure if thats even possible but it sounds lethal anyway :)

Thanks :) That took about 3 hours though, i make half a ship, add the detail by hand on one side, then mirror it over using mcedit; im not sure how i can add detail with mcedit though, help with that would be great :)

Edit_____
Oh my god, i think i am actually a smily addict :D

+1 for prototype.
an MAC is technically a glorified giant mass driver which is a large railgun/gauss cannon.

Huh, I stand corrected. I looked it up and now I'm inclined to agree with you: Magnetic Accelerator Cannon. Thanks!

I have been expeerimenting with using google sketchup to model ships before binvoxing them into schematic form, unfortunately my non existant skill has kinda limited the ships, still; it looks quite a bit better than my last ship when it was undetailed. For some reason it is also made of stone, i will change that later :D Here is a pic, it will (hopefully) look quite a bit better when i detail it.

From a distance, stone actuallly looks good on ships.
But it could also just be eihort.

Since I cant really be bothered to finish my binvox ship at the moment, I have started work on a new dreadnaught, since the actual ship is virtually non-existent at the mo thanks to it having curves >:| Here's the design, its going to take a while :[

Curves are easy, just continuously change the gradient.
