I think Futurecraft is fine, the only problem is that there are 2+ servers with that name and if you search for "Futurecraft", you still get a lot of links to Powercraft, altough they changed their name.
Also some crazy designers and some design-thing at the MIT.

well.... I wouldn't blame them for the name. It's a surprising popular mod, and map name for minecraft.
