These Lusians seem to have an obsession with putting weird pointy objects on the strangest places on their ships.

Here is the Lusian Scout Corvette (the first scout ship that I've made, too)

What are you talking about, crazy-pants? Do these look like Targareyan ships? So silly, those aren't spikes, they're fins and panels! Big difference....Dr. Mackeroth wrote:These Lusians seem to have an obsession with putting weird pointy objects on the strangest places on their ships.

Re: Terran Trade Confederation
I suppose the sandstone-like looking thing in the front is a sensor array?

The Lusian Patrol Corvette:

Re: Terran Trade Confederation
At some point they all become to look like clones of each other ... maybe a new hull in that shape would help but currently it doesn't cut it anymore.
They're watching ...

Re: Terran Trade Confederation
I think the newer models look quite reasonable on an economic point of view.
Making many different ship-classes based on a modular system with about 3-4 different hulls allows for much cheaper production while keeping the quality the same.
Good thinking, Laser! Keep it up!

Re: Terran Trade Confederation
Come on guys, you're both smart enough to know that's exactly what I'm going for. I just wanted to create another race to go along with the Confederation, and I wanted to do it as quickly and easily as possible. I made most of these ships all at once, in three separate sittings but I'm only showing one per day because when I started this subforum wasn't seeing very much activity and I wanted to inject some more interest into it. I also stuck really close to the source material too. If you're curious about who designed these ships just PM and I'll let you know how to find them.blockman42 wrote:Iv121 wrote:At some point they all become to look like clones of each other ... maybe a new hull in that shape would help but currently it doesn't cut it anymore.

I'd buy that.
