Actually, I stopped watching after the Intrepid-class ship photon torpedoed the AT-AT.
A simple phaser would have done the trick as well...

That was a Star Trek ship. ;)

Although I noticed that nearly all of the ships seemed to be fighting with the same glowing-missile things, regardless of what weapons they actually carry.

I know. It still had Star Wars in it, so the rules of physics and common sense no longer apply (^-^)/

You can say that about nearly any science fiction series. You may be able to come up with a very few that completely obey physics, but they're pretty bloody rare.

Example for lolphysics: Mass Effect.
Take Element zero.
It´s what? 0 protons? Is that even an element?
..now i´m confused...

Probably just a neutron, or instead of protons and electrons its sigmas and muons or something

To be honest, tachyon would make more sense...
Or Axions, Gravitinos or Axinos. Even Higgsinos would make sense, but...
Wait. Did you just say "single neutron" ?
would make sense... maybe.

An element without protons is called neutronium. It's not real, but it's close enough. That's a fairly common element (if you'll excuse my pun) in science fiction.

An element without protons would just be neutrons, neutronium would just be a cluster of neutrons, not technically an element, but does exist, though it may not have the properties it has in sci fi, theoretically it can become so dense it's force of gravity exceeds the strong force, causing it to become a black hole

And the hell is a gravitino, that's like a smaller version of gauge boson, which is rather useless/preposterous

A gravitino is to gravity what a photon is to electromagnetic waves.

Do you mean a graviton? A photon is an electromagnetic... Well wave, or particle (or both), but it is the gauge boson for the electromagnetic force, a graviton is the gauge boson of gravity (or so we believe, we don't actually know)

I think you mean graviton, a gravitino would be to a graviton what a neutrino is to a neutron, it would be useless, but if the graviton does indeed exist, then a gravitino could be possible, but it would be very useless, and we would never find it
