I remember having one of those spybot-things, but my computer at the time couldn't run the cd that had the instructions so I never got it built.

Re: Wings of The Schmetterling
Ah.. Good old Lego.
Anyway, I've been doing some more work on the ship. I built the shuttle and fighter landing-strips (still need to do the internals of the though), and have made the Captain's office (working on the rest of the quarters). I've also starting using the Deuteros texture pack, although I prefer the black brick in Laserbilly's version of the pack.

Re: Wings of The Schmetterling
Okay, here are some screenshots of the galley, and above it, the captain's quarters/office.
I'm currently building the mine-cart track around the ship. I have no idea how to build a mine cart station that still allows the mine carts to travel along the track in a loop. i.e. I need a track that runs from A to B to C, stopping at all of them, but going around automatically.

It looks nice, but the lights on the galley walls seem random and ugly

I, too, like the interior, but I'm obligated to feel your exterior isn't as good as it could be.

im really good at this what does the station has to doDr. Mackeroth wrote: I'm currently building the mine-cart track around the ship. does it have to send seperate carts sorted on catagory
or does it have to split in full and empty
or do you just want minecarts riding around

Which lights do you mean? The glowstone is patterned and symmetrical, and is most certainly not random, but if you're saying that the torches I put on the walls look random, then I understand, and will remove them.blockman42 wrote:It looks nice, but the lights on the galley walls seem random and ugly
And Tiel, the exterior is nowhere near done yet. I'm hoping I can find a way to make the smooth armor along the top and bottom of the ship detailed without looking messy.

from what I can tell, you have several wall patterns in on room and they don't look too nice together.Dr. Mackeroth wrote:Which lights do you mean? Re: Wings of The Schmetterling
Okay, here's the first picture of the dock I'm building (the one from the "A Challenge Has Been Given" thread). I must say, the curved roof was a massive pain to get right. Any advice is welcome, I feel out-of-my-league (I hate building curves like that):

Based on the people in the picture, I'd say its around 3/4 scale. I was intending for it to be 1:1, but things got messed up.

Re: Wings of The Schmetterling
Okay, here's a quick update screen-shot:

There's more you can't see. The internal passages are extremely complicated, I'm getting lost and confused while building them.
Do you know how hard it is to make a cargo-crane look elegant?
