I easily have twice as many ships as any other member here. I'll create a list from memory, if you like.
The problem is, if I build big ships, and build them well, it takes a long time to complete anything.
I count nine builds in your OP, and you've been here longer than anyone. That's about a ship every two months, I think. Iv has more than that, as do Laserbilly and several others. You have a lot of ships, but you don't have twice as many, and you build them slowly. That's not supposed to be insulting or offensive, of course. But it's one reason you don't get that many posts.
No... I have way more than that. Let me think... (if I let the exteriors unfinished on any of these, I'll mention it)

D-series:
-Diplomatic ship
-Cruiser
-Cargo ship
-Frigate
-Assault ship
-Space station
-Shuttle
-Flying saucer
-Atlantis (severely unfinished)
-Alteran Battle cruiser (severely unfinished)

0-series:
-Fighter
-Mobile cannon
-Drop-ship
-Frigate
-Cruiser
-Battle cruiser
-Dreadnought
-Death-ray (unfinished)

P-series:
-Tank
-Frigate
-Space station
-Fighter
-Mini Banhammer
-Started Banhammer (do any of you remember the giant glowstone orb-of-doom?)

M-series:
-Drone carrier (still one of my favourites)
-Drone ship
-Shuttle
-Smaller drone carrier
The turret show-room on Danice's server, which had a small turret, medium turret, large turret, large side turret, missile turret, the truly massive turret, and the drone launcher turret
-Troop drop-ship
-Small mech (battle walker)
-Tank
-Speeder
-Shuttle (most of it was my friend's work, but it was in my style...)
-Cargo ship
-Larry (unfinished)
-Atlantis (profoundly unfinished)

A-series:
-Orbital MAC
-Armored shuttle
-Cruiser
-Pinnacle
-Shuttle-sized thing (we never decided on a name)
-Fighter

B-series (the cronological order gets messed up here):
-Big hokin' space-gun
-The ammo for that gun was larger than some of the ships I listed, so I'll post that too.
-Bob (corvet sized)
-Banhammer 2 (unfinished)
-Mini Banhammer 2 (for the 3rd try at the Banhammer)
-Banhammer 3 (unfinished)
-Banhammer 4 (unifnished) (this was the one that I stole the roof of Billy's carrier for)

-Warhammer 40k shuttle + several prows for several larger ships (which took ages to build...)

-The 8 car-sized ships I used in my Steve 2500AD build

-Small Steampunk airship
-Large Steampunk airship

M-series 2:
-Drone fighter
-Fighter
-Hyperspace-capable fighter
-Pinnacle (with working guns!)
-Corvet
-Destroyer (front end) which I attached to the back end of an Alteran Battlecruiser. Neither/the ship were/was ever completed fully. I also refitted the parts I'd done to change texturepack.

-A frigate in a modified version of Billy's style

-Ki-Kuka class cruiser
-Ki-Konza class frigate
-Refitted Bob

Q-series:
-Destroyer
-Tank
-Mobile weapons platform
-Cargo truck
-Troop transport truck
-Magister class mech
-Speeder
-Infantry (I know three blocks doesn't really count...)
-Battle mech
-Supply dropship
-Crate (much larger than some of the ships posted here, so it does count)
-Carrier
-Drone fighter

By my count, that's 82 ships built/started. (You'll get a different count probably, I knew when to count groups as one, or weird messes as a half)

Also, my internet's run out for the month. Don't expect many posts from me anywhere for the next few weeks. I've had to internet theater to my phone to post this.

Really? I had no idea. Where are they? I don't think I've seen more than about ten of those.

LJS: I think you'll find I've shown a surprising number of those, you just don't remember them. Also, I never make statements falsely, when I said I has 2x the number of ships than anyone else, I meant it.

Prototype: this is largely true. However, except for the D-series, all of them have been good enough for me to post..

Avenger: I'm constantly posting unfinished work, I have a nasty habit of starting things and never finishing. Which is why I'm surprised at the number of ships I did finish.

Am I sounding really arrogant again? If I am, please stop me. I just want what's best for everyone, I shouldn't be so selfish...

What do you mean "I'm lucky"? I'm lucky that I can build, I'm lucky I can think, I'm lucky I can write (most of the time), I'm lucky I've set myself up as a god, I'm lucky I've been born into a 1st world country, I'm lucky I have good friends and a food family, I'm lucky we have money, I'm lucky I have health.
I'm not lucky that people don't do themselves a favour and study my works.

That was so arrogant, I can taste it. I could have said that more tactfully, but I can't be bothered. Here, I am the USA, and you're the rest of the world. That makes Fr0stbyte Japan...

Anyway, back to ships. I've been taking a break from computer games, because the unthinkable happened: I became addictided to Lego. Currently, I am building a robotic crane. Once I'm done, ill probably get back to Minecraft and my ship. But I'm locking the crane! If I still had the software to program it, I could control its movement, and also the turntable, and winch. I'm using a Spybotics brick for the engine (however I think it may have stopped working), and a Mindstorm brick for the winch/turntable/possible secondary drive. The Spybot comes with a remote control, but the Mindstorm doesn't. However, it does have an infrared receiver so I think it was supposed to work with one at some stage.
Any suggestions?
I'll post some pictures if anyone's interested, because it's a lot of effort with my current Internet levels.

you are lucky to get that much positive replies

and about the legos
if the engines ar not strong enough to make it move i suggest using pumps they'r much stronger not as easy to control though you would have to put your engines on the pumps to make it work

i dont know the english word for it but it is the hydrolics only with air instead of water

Pneumatics.

LEGOs are awesome. The Mindstorms system is an incredibly versatile thing. There's almost nothing you can't do with it.

It can't fly, I've tried.
Or shoot laser beams, no wait, it can.

I saw one that could jump across a two-meter gap, though. I still haven't figured out how they did that.

I'm thinking black connectors. Black connectors can do anything.

I doubt it. The black connectors (I think technically they're Technic Pins, but I could be wrong) and their variants are some of the most basic and useful pieces used in a robot.
