Unbelievable
Bought this mainly to play flash games, online poker and run dual CRT monitors. Pros: Excellent price to performance ratio Drivers were a breeze to install Room is warmer Cons: Had to cut holes in front and back of my mini-ATX just to fit her in. Lights dim when computer turns on. Very satisfied with my purchase, looking forward into the near future to buy another one, or two.

Best Graphics Card I've Ever Owned!!
Now I can run Minecraft at high settings with 14 fps, on two screens! I sold my console, car and wife for this computer but it was well worth it after I could play Skyrim at 30 fps on low settings. I'm definitely going to buy another one to increase my fps by 5!

This costs 5X my computer but it was worth it!!!
Combine this with core i7 and 16gb of ram I can finally run Crysis 2 on medium settings! After I finish Crysis 2 I'll sell this and buy me a new car. Well worth the price.

I got this card and now I can play Half Life in 4D! That's right suckers, I get 10e38962 FPS, and it made my internets faster.

One word, Chicks
Before I bought this card I was living in my moms basement. I'm not going to lie. This graphics card probably isn't for everyone. Being a semi-pro elite gamer, this card has the horsepower I need to get me through those tough encounter demanding max fps. Credability. I've been playing Hello Kritty Online since the open beta in August 2008. The system requiremnts call for a card with AT LEAST 512MB video memory, and can handle directX 8. This card can do all that, AND MORE! Sure, there are probably one or two cards out there that I could have purchased to cut costs.., But when you and your friends are helping Kitty wake up from her etheral slumber, and heling her defeat a mysterious and malevolent power. You don't have time to be disconnecting, tradmillin, or dropping frames just because of a weakscause GPU. Do yourself a favor and get this card! Pros include Green and Black colors A sticker for my computer case

So, what is the best graphics card for gaming?

There are two competing brands - AMD/ATI and nVidia.

The 7990 Radeon HD and 690 GTX are each company's respective 'infinity+1' graphics card. A Crossfire or SLI setup (again respectively) would be the best graphics card solution.

Though if you mean from a practibility standpoint, a 7770 or 660 should get the job done without any frills.

Lol, all those cards you just mentioned are absolute monsters. The 660 is like 10x more powerful than the hardware I'm running right now. No frills, my ass. :p

Yea and that stuff costs like 1000$ each ... I usually buy new card when mine shows it's age. I get the average one for around 250$ to serve me for a while, I found that enough for quite a time. The cost can pretty much tell you what you need currently (from official retailers OFC)

Please tell me you're talking about the overkill setups I posted. 7770s hover around 120$ USD, 660's aren't much more.

660s are $230, though they are a lot more powerful than the 7770s, and Nvidia has Physx, and lots of other cool stuff. I am becoming a real Intel/Nvidia fan boy.
AMD is not my favorite.
