You know if you think about it all the science fiction genres seem unrealistic in their combat based on what kinda tech they have. I have a massive faster then light ship, and my tactic will be to charge straight at the other guy and upon reaching him fire weapons in broadside based combat like modern ships, because hey infinite directions might as well choose direct combat. I haven't seen everything though so maybe there is a book, movie, shot story, or something that is more realistic combat wise.
