I use nether bricks on all of my ships (though they are retextured to a pastel red).

Anyway, people are allowed to have their own opinions and carry out their ideas freely, unless in doing so, another person comes to harm. This is the basis of all laws (excluding silly ones like parking regulations on flying sauces in vineyards in France), and you will do well to remember it.
