Some kind of biodome thing, I guess. I like them, it seems like some factions will make homes in them.

Tiel, you should see if there's some kind of "cold damage" feature you could add, so that unless you are wearing armor, or perhaps even better, leather or diamond armor, but not one of the metal armors, you take small amounts of damage from coldness if you are in light level 6 or less and/or surrounded for snow for a long period of time. It would help the feeling of the server.

And why not metal armor?

Having metal plates strapped to your body would probably make it worse. It'd be like licking a frozen pole, but with your entire chest.

The thing is, the server has a texture pack where everything's modded to be futuristic, iron armor included. Did you download the texpack on join Keon..?

That would be unreasonable, people would expect much more if they have to download something to join.

I'm trying to make it as server-side dependent as possible, but that texturepack is necessary for things to not look mediocre

Yes. My armor icons are still default, though I confess I haven't put them on.
