Haven't seen it yet, so here.

To the Mun!
(Yes, this base actually ended up there.)

I can never get anything larger than a probe out of orbit.

I always screw up and crash into the mun, and in no way is it because I max speed into it.

You might want to slow down.

If you overshoot (and end up with no Munar periapsis 'cause your on a crash course), apply a touch of RCS or retro thrust. Or die in a crater, your choice.
And the pictured mission parked me inside the largest crater (far as I can tell) on the Mun. Unfortunately, I magically fired my rover on a course to the star, so I have to walk around with good 'ol Kerbals.

I've been playing recently, mostly trying to prototype a drop-pod for the Kerbal Spesh marines.

I made a giant rocket and made it to the mun's orbit with enough fuel to go on six round trips between. I then crashed into the main structure of the launch facility with enough fuel for five round trips... Everyone is dead.

Is this game free? Because I've watch a few videos and it looks like something I'd enjoy.

The demo is free. But you only get certain parts for rockets, and it is extremely hard to get to the moon.

Parked a ship in Minmus orbit. Not enough d/V to get back, but I can probably hit an aerobraking.

Built an ICBM... and an IPBM... and then a cruiser... and then a cruiser carrying two MIRVs with a dozen warheads apiece.

I nuked Duna.

So recently I've been playing around in KSP again, and while looking over the forums I saw ribbons. And I've decided to display them in my signature. Earlier on Duna, I landed a one kerbal rover and when I exited to go take a nice stroll, the rover bugged out and exploded, stranding Bill Kerman until I had my Duna HOME system, and when I finally got the Nautiliss there and landed all the modules I sent down my lander that I built just for Bill and now he's sitting cozy in the Nautiliss, making sure nothing goes boom while I'm not looking.
