Friends my *ss. If there's anything I've learned from tonight it's that there's no such thing.
Sometime tomorrow I will figure out the server once I've set up the website, the nameservers should have already resolved earlier this week so it shouldn't take too long.

Shame about the world, but you have a ready-made slave labor force.
Shouldn't be too hard to rebuild.

You should introduce the Council to Minecraft.ACH0225 wrote:Shame about the world, but you have a ready-made slave labor force.
Shouldn't be too hard to rebuild.
1: It would distract them from important matters, allowing you to rule unopposed.
2: It would make them happy.
3: It would make them feel above others.
4: We would have more workers, as long as we pretended we thought they were also humans.
Also, whenever you want, I'm available for some slave labor, Tiel.

The Council is all elderly. They cannot adapt as readily as I can. They also are slightly smarter than plants and slightly subtler than elephants.
Besides, all of the above is already true.

Re: Tiel's WIP Skylands Server
I know doubleposting is immoral and all, but this server is a fixed point in time. It will happen. Even if Tiel is dead.

Re: Tiel's WIP Skylands Server
The server theme has changed.
Enthis is a world covered in dense glaciers, classified as uninhabitable by even the most generous of scientists. Only a small research station subsisted on the frozen planet, until a wayward scan revealed strains of ores protected within the ice. At first, only military contractors were allowed on the surface to carve out the rare metals for experimental projects, but when corporations caught wind of the discovery they slowly grinded down the government's resolve to protect the planet. Within the year the general public was given free access to Enthis, many travelling aboard corporate starships to the frozen world as indentured privateers, braving the hostile terrain to pay off their journey and, with any luck, make a profit as well.
The planet's atmosphere is highly volatile, severely damaging any spacecraft unequipped for the perpetual blizzards. The process of doing so is highly expensive, meaning all exo-atmospheric craft on the planet are inevitably the property of the companies that operate the Sevaria, a starcruiser that holds orbit in the outer atmosphere to receive miners and shuttle them to the research station. Instead, privateers planetside rely on aerodynes, craft explicitly designed for the environment but incapable of exiting the atmosphere as a result. Having one, however, is considered a luxury not all can afford. Many would rather trek on foot and fend off the lethal creatures that inhabit the world rather than risk delving further into debt.
So more futuristic and such. Ships will also be purchased, not built, for the sake of authenticity. Gameplay will likely consist of building 'Rigs' to break the ice via TNT and then scooping up the riches under the ancient glaciers and spending them on conveniences such as factions, vehicles, and weapons.
Just an update. From now on any notices will be given at http://enthis.tk.

What do points have to do with my server?Iv121 wrote:You really shouldn't do it Tiel, you took the point issue out of proportions .
No idea. Haven't pasted it in yet, though I think it'll be that one ship by block, his first attempt at making a UNSC frigate. That one was rather good.Prototype wrote: How big is the Sevaria?

Re: Tiel's WIP Skylands Server
I said I intended to leave the forum for a time. But, people log in and get confused as to what's going on. So, to kill two birds with one stone I went and started up the website for the server so I could provide updates while we're designing the map. Wordpress isn't just for blogs, you know. It's a very flexible CMS.
