Dunno mate ironically Russian tanks owned German Panzers pretty hard early in the war. If you ask me it was mainly that he took everyone by surprise. France, Britain, Russia, they just weren't ready for him to roll in and he didn't waste that given time either. Even his weakest link, the naval forces, striked at the strongest fleet in the world (the Royal Navy) pretty hard early in the war.

If I remember correctly Russia won because it's tanks were tractors with guns and Russia had thousands of them being produced. Whereas Germany had fucksquat and ended up losing more tigers to destruction by crews then enemy fire to avoid them being captured after they broke down.


WW2 is great when you look at it, ironically (not, read history this ain't ironic at all) if hitler had trusted his generals and not filed with things the Nazis might have very well won WW2, D-day would've been squashed pretty badly if not for Hitler being a fucktard.

Historically thats what the Germans thought ... until their Pz4s met the Russian KV1. That thing easily blew the Pz4s apart (the German heaviest tank at the beginning of the war) while the Pz4s couldn't even scratch em. Imagine how humiliating it was for the "superior" tech of the "master race" to be blown apart by " peasant tractors of the slave race".

And yeah German tigers which were built to counter KVs (which were countered by ISs) died more often due to technical breakdowns and no if the enemy didn't kill you it doesn’t mean your tech is good, if your weapon falls apart under its own complexity its a bad weapon.
