Have no idea what you're doing, eh?
-don't fly into solid objects
-shoot things marked as targets
-occasionally fly into solid objects anyway
-fail to hit targets
-fly into solid objects more
-actually shoot some stuff and squee, this getting yourself killed
-lather, rinse, repeat
And you've got the Arena Commandah experience down pat AFAIK.

Re: Star Citizen
Managed to get into a couple games (strangely) by not having SC as the window focus when I join.
My 315p is no match for any dedicated combat ship. RIP me every time.

Re: Star Citizen
Try the singleplayer mode for figuring out how to not suck completely for now, appearently there are issues with the matchmaking server, so joining a multiplayer game might be pretty shitty.

Re: Star Citizen
I can shoot things, though the aiming scheme takes a bit to get used to (and is hard to use). I'll get it though. Eventually.

Re: Star Citizen
They had it the other way around originally, it showed you where to aim instead of where your shots will end up, the problem with that was that it was hard to actually hit the enemy, because you were unable to account for the enemy's size. Also it was hard to predict enemy movements because you weren't looking at the enemy directly, which hurt more experienced players.

Re: Star Citizen
They're actually an option for where to aim, but it is indeed not very gud.
I really need some gimballed weapons.

Re: Star Citizen
note: gimbals only work when using mouse/keyboard control. other input devices have a thing where they become less sensitive as you get closer to an aiming solution, so you can aim better; also gimbals come at the disadvantage of a -1 in size for weapons.

They already announced the prices. They're on the subreddit, but off the top of my head I think the E is about $600

Fucking what?Tell wrote:$600
This, ladies and gentlemen, is why I'm never buying this game.
That and I can't afford the computer to run it on. Mostly that actually.

What irritates me the most is people talking about those prices as if they're, like, okay.

Don't tell anybody, but to this day I have a faint hope for Futurecraft, or something similar to it, to happen. Within my lifetime.
