The last two scouts for the Perimeter Security Force have been completed, as have 2 of its planned frigates.

Furthermore, the prototype for the Sawfish-class area defense cruiser has been completed and is undergoing trials.

I don't have the time for in-depth RPing right now bcus of school, so imma just do a quick summary of the results of the rebellion:

BIC:
The rebel forces have managed to take over Technotronic territory, and have declared themselves the new government, under the name of the United Federation of Systems. Because of the former government withholding information about galactic politics from the public, the Federation has sent diplomatic agents to core parts of the different factions to learn more about the current political situation. The government-owned news network will be broadcasting all information to the citizens, and governmental aid has been given to the areas negatively affected by the rebellion.

The Federation wishes to extend its thanks towards the Macaian and Hexalan factions for their aid during the rebellion; without them, it would have been considerably less one-sided.

The NeoRoman Hierarchy has announced the completion of the Planet Cracker. It has been christened Vishnu after the ancient Hindu deity. It's first test will be conducted on Tervius Prime, an uninhabitable rock in the Tervius system, fairly close to Aquarius.

[Meta]Secretly, Vishnu has been turned into a massive, mobile battlestation using material surplus. It is armed with a dazzling array of weaponry apart from the primary Graviton Cracker and possesses a very strong Plasma Shield unit. If tests go according to plan, Vishnu will be brought to bear against the Valius (Butik).

The ship-sized jump gate is a resounding success, though the units are expensive and not terribly durable. Several other jump-gates are planned to be constructed in major systems. Details on the jump gate are being shared with the Novan Commonwealth; a powerful enough gate could link the capitals together, allowing extremely quick transport.

The Ringworld has yielded nothing of value or interest for quite a while. Scientists have reported that the station has been 'wiped clean' of all technology and artifacts. Drone signatures have been steadily decreasing as well.

Several skirmishes between Valius (Butik) and NR forces have occurred on border worlds. These units appear to be scouts. The NR public has grown aware of the threat and many have demanded answers. Hierarch Guldan (the second Hierarch) will be delivering a speech on the issue in approximately 2 standard Earth days.

The Commonwealth has shared its own research on jump drives and gates, but notes that having more than a handful would get astonishingly expensive. They do agree to have a gate in the mostly-unsettled Sigma Pavonis system - colloquially, Nair al Nahr - to facilitate high-speed transit.

Exploration of the Derelict have yielded no results; the methods of construction, however, and the materials are both being studied. A slow, but reasonably reliable means of cutting the ringworld's hull has been developed; patches are being removed for analysis and possible use on ships.

[Meta] A possible means of scrambling FTL drives has been shared with the NeoRomans; it is a system that projects focused and tuned electromagnetic and radiological bursts to disrupt navigational sensors and computers.

While drives can still be used under the effects of the scrambler, safety overrides prevent this; the drive must be manually activated. It has been tested on warp, interspace, and prototype jump drives; it will disrupt all three, but can be defeated by (specialized) hardening. [/meta]

OOC: It's main purpose was, and always will be, mining. It's just also a battlestation because the Graviton Cracker can be used as a VERY effective weapon. How so? Rip up a portion of planet's crust, drop the chunk from orbit, devastate world. So they made it closer to a battlestation than just a planet cracker.

Clan Kassaan has acquired government funding; widespread deployment of Genetic Retroviral Immunoenhancers has begun.

Experimental weaponry has been announced for both of the CSN's battlecarriers; 1400mm artillery cannon, alongside (prototypical) Hybrid Accelerators*, are being prepped for fitting onto the ships. A number of their conventional 150mm and 270mm railguns will be removed, and reused on the nation's conventional carriers; while still underarmed, the vessels will be capable of engaging cruiser-weight vessels.

[Meta]Commonwealth Naval Intelligence has been officially formed. It consists of four divisions;

Section One, the 'Foreign Office'. Dedicated to external operations.
Section Two, the 'Bureau of Ships and Services'. Responsible for the three Prowlers under CNI.
Section Three, 'The Sneaky Bastards' - the elite of the CSN Infantry, serving as a special operations group.
Section Four, the 'Home Office'. Counterintelligence - goven leave, by law, to use any possible means to defend the Novan Commonwealth.[/meta]
