Re: Looking of how good draw I am!
The godmods of the FCVerse seem to have their mind set on Futurecraft being hard SciFi, though. AKA unless you have a 10-page text describing in detail the science behind your thing, detailed enough to grant you a patent for it, then you can't haz.Shadowcatbot wrote:Until someone turns on a big magnet.
Also, it's a science fiction universe so fuck you, Science did it.

I liked the last universe rather better. And not just because I could actually do stuff.

We're hardish-sf at the moment, but as time and technology march on, things will get soft.
As it were.
@Shadow: Radiological poisoning. Chemical reactions. Acids and alkalines. These are all things that can occur in foods that will, regardless of your biological orgy, Frak You Up but good.
And no creature is immune to the effects of all poisons or toxins. If they tried to eat something not of their protein structure (Mass Effect's whole levo/dextro thing, for a bad example) it would be Bad.
*waves hands* Biology.

lolno. "hard scifi" as in you're not allowed to be completely and utterly stupid, which actually completely rules out the existence of shadowcat. Really if you could manage to make the universe any shittier than it was (and it was only borderline rock bottom, so it's theoretically possible), you deserve a medal or something. Please don't take that as a challenge.

idk, the one I'm laying out seems to have both you and ACH's jimmies rustled, so I think I'm doing a pretty good job.Mercury Steam wrote:Please don't take that as a challenge.

I'm pretty fine with the one you're laying out, I just know absolutely nothing about it, and I also find it a little silly that Fen isn't the one doing most of it.

Fenway is not the end-all, be-all for backstory. I respect his literary skills, yes, but I don't feel any overwhelming need to consult him every time I visit the crapper.
Re: Looking of how good draw I am!
I don't recall having any major complaints, just that it could be done better at the cost of rustling a critical mass of jimmies.

Not really. It was either that or try and implement what's there..and to be frank, I'm not touching what's there with a ten foot stick. Or a ten inch one, for that matter.Mercury Steam wrote:I don't recall having any major complaints, just that it could be done better at the cost of rustling a critical mass of jimmies.
At least this way something making a little sense comes out of the endeavor while conveying *most* of the good stuff while not interrupting RP board's collaborative wet dreams.
