The Strigiforme have partially glassed a world currently in rebellion, resulting in the deaths of several billion inhabitants, with billions more wounded and displaced. The rebellion in the Pctyyliiv region has intensified since, and civilian ships are being ordered to berth immediately or be indiscriminately shot down by the Strigiforme forces in the region. Despite this, the Strigiforme retain only a tentative hold in the area, with forces attempting to reach the besieged stronghold of Hyytiik nearly in the center of the rebelling systems. The system is well equipped, but is under constant siege from modified civilian ships and a few captured military ships. The Strigiforme have begun to question foreign involvement.[meta]The Strigiforme have intensified covert operations in human empires due to the high risk of them supplying the rebels.[/meta]

Contact has been made with another alien world, This one being an early computer age. First contact crews have been deployed amongst the countries of the planet to work on basic translations.

A 'practice' fleet is being prepared, Notably it will include Faiw interspersed amongst the units in an attempt to form more cultural bonds.

The ICBII has set up centers in the NR. Currently the centers are collecting historical information while translators work on the finer details of current translations.
Under the terms of the ICBII charter ICBII centers are deemed 'neutral intergalactic territory' but still subject to local laws and protection to a point.

ME psionic scientists have found that by tweaking the psionic output devices, they could create a psionic background noise suitable for increasing focus of crew, improving overal preformance.

The Seolh-class has been commissioned and assigned to the fast response fleet until a more suitable fleet more focused on offense is formed; a sister ship is in production.

The previously announced ship concepts have been given more information about: Their roles are that of a point-defense cruiser meant to guard parts of a fleet from missile, torpedo, or fighter attacks, an attack craft for atmospheric operations meant to provide heavy fire support for ground troops and a strike craft meant for hit-and-run tactics against capital ships. Their design proces is well underway.

The ME is approaching TechTron for purchase of their hardened crops to plant at their colonies on less-habitable planets.

As the ME is continuing to expand both their territory and their military, another system is being assigned a standard defense fleet of 11 ships.

The Qanov-Slaania system is being developed into a farm world, exporting agricultural products into foreign space. With its core role in Macaian foreign trade, its defense fleet is being strenghtened with the addition of a Macai-class Carrier.

The Dominion of NeoRome has announced that they are constructing a massive 'Planetary Class' vessel designed to break apart and consume entire planets over time. The massive ship will be over 50 kilometers long and wide ((so it can rip up 50x50x50 chunks of material at a time)), and is expected to take several years to complete.

[Meta]The first working prototype of a Plasma shield has been developed, and is being field tested in various conditions. The increased power consumption is vastly outweighed by the Plasma shield's apparent superiority to all known shielding systems in existence, but further testing is still necessary.

Gluon has, somehow, docked to the ringworld directly. The captain reports that, after requesting to dock, an unknown algorithm took over ship controls and guided the ship into a previously unknown portion of the ringworld, which appears to be a dockyard on the side. Science teams are preparing to enter the construct.

Natalie has attempted to initialize contact with the alien fleet, but efforts seem to be failing and tensions are high.

Due to a recent strong of illnesses and unknown infections on Novus, the self-declared 'clan Kasaan' has begun work on both analysis of existing Novan illnesses, treatments, and therapies to adapt human immune systems.

Partially in response to this, more 'clans' have begun making themselves known.

A second Hades-class carrier, the CSV Artemis, has been completed; construction crews and bots are installing the ship's production and repair facilities during flight trials.

[Meta]The CSV Harrier has removed their corvette repair bay to install an experimental 'Ion Lance' - A larger, conziderably less efficient variant of the progenitor plasma beam weapons.

Two exploration teams from the carrier have landed inside the Shipyard's construction zone, and are preparing to enter the Derelict; they and the NeoRomans will attempt to map out the areas near the expedition zone.[/meta]

TTI have agreed to sell GM crops to the Macaians.

The shipyards on Technoma have been finished, and have been set to begin construction of Cardinal-class cruisers. They will be made to fit gravitational repulse drives, once a stable version of the technology is available.

Research is proceeding at a satisfactory rate on the gravitational repulse drive, and a prototype is expected to be available in a week or so.

Hexalan has offered to provide long-term assistance with the construction of the 'Planetary-class' vessel.

Colonists have begun buying TTI GM crops in large quantities.

Following several Hexalan-based traders being held up in the ME due to various claims regarding the nature of Hexalan Corp products aboard their vessels. The Hexalan Corporation has asked the ME to launch a formal investigation into the matter.

Multiple freighters carrying shipments of 'equipment vital to prosperity' to Hexalani colonies have mysteriously disappeared. Despite claims that they were destroyed by unknown forces, the official statement is that they were simply due to faulty navigational systems, a common issue with older models of freighters.

An ME investigation has proven claims that Hexalan traders were frequently transporting contraband as false. According orders have been given to harbor guards to avoid further complications. The ME would also permit the opening of a HexaMart in their capital.

Trade lines between Galatea - a system on the edge of the Terran Union - and Novus, have been established. Due to the distance involved, most of the vessels are large cargo haulers; the carrier Artemis has been assigned to run security for the first few convoys.

Clan Kasaan has reported notable research on Novan illnesses; it seems they are similar enough to Terra's to be dangerous, but dissimilar enough to slow the development of antibodies. The Clan is manufacturing antivirals tailored to the new planet, and is continuing research into genetic treatments.

[Meta] Three slipways of the Derelict Shipyard are complete; these have begun producing science corvettes, for further explorations into the wreck.

The Harrier has completed their ion cannon; tests show it is slow to charge and fire, but provides a reasonable output for a weapon of that size. Work on enhancing the range has begun; the ship's commander hopes to utilize it as an anti-structure weapon in the future. [/meta]
