Rename original Leviathan-II into MBT.
Make sure this new thing has enough power to bring down most tanks with 2 or less shots.

Hey Proto you think lasers are possible in Flan's ? Lets say we make big rectangular projectiles and shoot them in quick succession, timing it so that the back of the first meets with the head of the next, making a continuous mesh (and allowing us to simulate power usage with the ammo of dat thing !) ? I think it might have a prob when a person is moving around the mouse ending up spraying the squares everywhere but if the projectiles get to be almost instantaneously fast it is actually going to look like a continuous stream waving around which is sort of fine (or if possible the targeting should be slowed / locked). Either way it might be a funny concept to toy around with for your pack.

I have got an idea for them... Just need to work out what the speed variable are measured in. I suspect it's pixels/tick (conveniently enough by my scaling this is m/s). If I know speed, I can theoretically make a bullet model just the right size so it appears as a continuous beam when fired on full auto.

As for the thing about people waving it around... Well I don't know how to stop that. However if it were used on a slow moving vehicle, for example the ship I'm working on, then it could very well work.

Also planning to make it so all tank shells/missiles are crated from a weapons box. Texture not final.

Well it's coming up to the two year thingy, and I'd like to make a release on the 22nd.

Now there is no way MIDAS will be finished, so I'm going to bash out a few more tanks. Toolbox 2 means I can make a reasonable texturemap for the Brutus tank, and I've got the chassis made for the Leviathan MKIII, which is a hover tank with a heavy duty lascannon. This should sort out the lack of tanks people have been complaining about, and at two years in I'll have finally made a bloody hover tank.

Though this week I'm in France with shite internet, afraid I can't post progress so I'll try not to fuck it up.

Except for a white/green color combination for the main texture, that'd just suck.

Well the Brutus is textures and I've made the chassis for the Leviathan MKIII. Pretty much the MKII chassis but the tracks have been replaced with maglev units (or whatever magic levitation device) and shiny armour plating has been added to cover the weak points where the front tracks connect. Currently testing a version that uses the Railgun from the MBT variant of the Leviathan II, will be making the Lascannon variant later.

I think I'm going to give the Brutus a similar treatment, though right now it looks like a dragon with a monocle.
