I'm keeping it on hamachi while I get the basics of it running, so far It's just essentials and a slightly abridged Monorisu pack but I'm going to be sorting out a new modpack for it. Although I have the money to actually buy a host this time, and I should be able to maintain something decent.

I will be putting this on Technic so I can update it whenever the hell I want to and it won't be an issue for people. This also means I don't have to wait until I've fixed everything I want to in my own packs, I can simply patch them in as and when I make progress.

Also, anyone got a good idea of hosting companies? so far I've been looking but I'm a bit of a n00b in this area.


Also, anyone up for testing? I've got a basic modpack up, but lag is an issue.

Made some optimizations, fiddled with the modpack and slapped a different map on.

Server is up for the moment using the same information as prior, modpack will have to be re-downloaded but Technic should push you the update anyway.

Oh and there's some more plugins.

And more moon nazis.

So I'm still working in this, just had a few issues with Hamachi so testing has been down for a while.

However I've started on some server mechanics, due to the incompatibility of CustomNPCs my original ideas for shops and traders is kaput, however I can get some plugins to make villager shops instead.

As for trading currency, I was thinking of this system:

Bronze K'lii: 1 iconomy monies

Silver K'lii: 50 Bronze K'lii: 50 iconomy monies (50 because of stacking)

Gold K'lii: 50 Silver K'lii: 2500 iconomy monies

Platinum K'lii: 50 Gold K'lii: 125000 iconomy monies

Diamond K'lii: 50 Platinum K'lii: 6250000 iconomy monies

K'lii can be traded in for various items with specially configured Villagers acting as shops. I'll can make a currency stacker as a weapon box so you can combine stacks of lower coins to make higher coins, and the opposite can be done by simply putting a higher coin in a crafting grid.

And I think I might have a way to circumvent EULA and sell stuff... Seeing as cosmetic changes are apparently ok. But I'd rather not go there just yet.

Well right now it's not overly necessary. I did come up with the idea a long time ago, when all the server owners opted to merely complain rather than bother finding another method. But I could theoretically sell alternate models with the same stats, provided the player already has the original (a swap basically).
