NR-Hierarchy has officially been renamed to the Dominion of Neo-Antioch (under the terms of the recently completed and ratified constitution. Known as the Guardian Resolutions, it sets aside guidelines for the operation of the new government, as well as its powers and structure.

Following this acceptance by every NR colony (Note that NR is still the abbreviation), the process for selecting the first Hierarch of the Dominion is underway.

[Meta]Research into fusion has yielded... unexpected results. A cascade failure in an experimental reactor lead to the gamma ignition lasers firing prematurely, impacting and focusing on the walls of the reactor. While it was expected that the lasers would simply be absorbed, sensors detected fusion and fission reactions occurring in the reactor vessel before the reactor violently detonated. The entire experiment was lost (along with a good portion of the research base), but the data up until the explosion remains. Once the facility is rebuilt, research into this phenomenon will commence, for possible use as a weapons system.

A destroyer-class vessel is being drafted for production, but military officials state that ships larger than destroyers are too slow and vulnerable to be even considered for production ((i'm assuming shielding technology hasn't been invented yet, so it's all armor.)) [/Meta]

NR has accepted Hexalan's offer ((I'm assuming here that you are making Hexalan ships for NR, correct?)) and has asked for 100 frigate to cruiser-class ships by the end of the year.

NR has accepted Hawkeye-Aerospace's offer, and has asked for 50 Harlequins.


Something very strange has been noticed in the Industrial-Age society previously discovered; a massive energy signature was detected activating on one of the major continents, followed by an explosion on a scale only seen with nuclear weapons. There is no possible explanation except for the presence of nuclear weapons- which should be an impossibility for this society. A science team has been sent to investigate.

Hawker has begun orbital construction of both Harlequins and a newer design, Hunter-IIs, and is expecting to meet all requested contracts within a month.

Takeover of the alien world has succeeded. Restructuring of the government has commenced. Technological uplifting is being conducted. Infrastructure is being improved.

Researchers have noticed that total lack of psionics within the alien species, Genetic experiments are being conducted to determine if there are any possible improvements for both sides.

Thanks to the translation key sent by the newly arrived alien vessels, the ME has been able to identify then as the "Interstellar Scavenger Federation" and is sending them a message in their own language telling them they are havign contact with the MAcaian Empire. They have also been asked to dock with a Macaian cruiser.

Expecting an increase in interstellar Traffic, a large space station is being constructed in the Qanov-system.
While the focus of said station will be in commerce, it is also very defendable and will serve as a fighter base for the military.

Research has concluded that a device based on warp engines would be able to transmit signals through gravity waves. Hope is also that devices aimed at recieving said signals would double as warp detectors. However, due to their expected low range, the ME is also investing in hyperspace communications, which may be used for longer range transmitions. However, hyperspace communication only exists in theory yet, so operational capability is still very far off.

The Harlequins are being tested accordingly. In addition, the first payment of 105 Billion has been sent to Hexalan (FYI NR was a very big corporation, so they still have a lot of credits lying around to fund themselves). The second payment will be sent upon completion of the order (The standard half now, half when you finish them).

Another couple of systems is being settled by a colony fleet sponsored by NR from the Terran Union.

A second massive explosion has been detected on the industrial-age world, and the source has been identified;
This insectoid race, despite barely having electrical power, is pouring a very large amount of resources into very large 'boxes' of sorts. These boxes are then charged with a large influx of electrical power, which then detonate violently. The purpose of this is entirely unknown, and the science ship hopes to capture the next few explosions to find out why.

Hierarch selection has been narrowed down to 5 candidates.

[Meta]The reactor explosion has been successfully reproduced in another, non-experimental reactor utilizing the same internal ignition beams. As it was expected, no damage occurred to research facility. The beams will require significant reworking in range, power, and other points before they can be implemented as a weapon system.[/Meta]

(Fen, I'll assume your issues are from trying to miniaturize fusion, as the Terrans managed it in the 2090s/2100s, but only on a large (ship or planet) scale.)

A scout flight has detected an unknown signature; reporting it, the now-stealth ship NSV Apocrypha is enroute to investigate.

To give its creator time to read the previous posts, the United Mundesh has successfully pushed the majority of the military force of the remaining Noble Houses off of the planet. This occurred following the first use of nuclear weapons on the continental surface of Mundesh. House Karesh, which left peacefully in accordance to the order from the United Mundesh, has left a significant portion of its ground force on the surface to assist the UM. Because of that assistance, Karesh and its allies: Karth and Minor Noble Kal will face less harsh reparations in the future. Though formal House military action is dwindling, nationalist organizations have taken root in some of the less stable regions.

The Purge of Mundesh has led to several advancements in Slip-Merge Hyperspace technology by House Karth. Those advancements, which allow for longer-range travel, have spread to the other spacebound houses in a matter of months. Noble Houses that have not established a capital outside of the Batiel System are quickly moving to do so. House Shi currently dominates the Outer Sphere. Military advancement has increased despite the loss of planetbound resources. The Houses continue in their bitter wars even though the potential for expansion has exponentially increased and the colonization pressure is gone.

Scout ships are progressively moving through systems and expanding the detailed map of space attempting to avoid entering assumed alien space beyond their borders. (read: Humans should probably see this, Otherwise their fucking blind.)

Population growth is up in all colonies. Uplifting of the alien race now dubbed the Faiw after deciphering parts of their language is progressing well.

Research into better sensors has been completed, After deploying these packages towards known space-faring alien areas to hunt for warp drives a number of transmission like patterns were detected. Scientists assume this may be some form of advanced alien technology to transmit data through warp. Further study is being commenced.

The diplomatic convoy is being doubled in an attempt to gather notice from local aliens.
