Prototype- God of Practice, and Annoyance- Bringing a new age of study he is the youngest of the gods and has much to learn, but he is also a creator and with that holds great power, if only he could comprehend his task. Not sure how many people still play, I have just downloaded it, to be told my specs are not good enough.

The game is CPU bound, you need a 1st-gen i5 to play it on the lowest of low settings but GPU doesn't matter that much.

When I applied for beta it said that it would work on my specific system, which is annoying.

Any way of upgrading the CPU? (As in how much would the price of hardware cost, I could probably switch out a few components on my computer to make it meet specs)

If you are on a desktop, it depends on the socket of your motherboard. What is your CPU at the moment?

I haven't a clue, but the desktop is about 6.572 years old, so probably not good enough.

Looks like I'm going to be buying/acquiring/stealing a new one.
