A debate over future actions on lesser alien civilizations is raging on. One side supports taking them militarily or politically and uplifting them to a spacefaring race while absorbing their culture and knowledge in one go while the other side suppors watching them from afar and leaving them be till they leave their own planet.

The NR-Hierarchy has begun to rapidly reorganize itself. The current corporate structure is being disbanded and changed in favor of a true government, and all employees of NR-Hierarchy are being granted citizenship status, with all that it entails. A governmental constitution is being developed for the corporation to abide by.

Unfortunately, the military force is practically nonexistent, even with the 50 or so ships that have been produced, and the economical situation is dim, to say the least. Until NR-Hierarchy gets itself up to speed, it will be heavily leaning on other nations for support.

In addition, the current leadership of NR-Hierarchy has responded to Hexalan, stating that the new-found nation has a keen interest in manufacturing contracts for military ships. NR is willing to negotiate.

Fitting them with sensor packages, the Commonwealth has begun using flights of fighters to begin mapping the planets of Sigma Antares in detail, and to make scout runs to nearby systems.

Hawker AeroSpace has contacted Hexalan, the NR, and the TTI, offering to produce the Harlequin fighter-bomber for them, at a slightly reduced cost (provided Hawker keeps their contract for 2 years).

- Warships that are given unto the NR each quarter,

The emissary convoy has determined the general area of origin of the alien ships and warped there, Upon spotting alien vessels (Anyone you want, Derpy traders, military, McDonalds space corporation) it has attempted to maintain a passive stance to avoid the wrong impression of their motive. They have also begun to transmit a variety of signals and messages ranging from simple Nivanshae speech (Insectoid chittering to humans) to pictures of peaceful actions.
