Not sure if criminal or just too moral. What is the point of giving criminals a free life, Your supposed to punish them for breaking the law not remove all need for work.
I fully support your idea of having them work. But tedious work like working at a factory or a post office, or a construction site, under human conditions, not work 20 hours per day flattening a mountain with toothpicks.
