OOC: @Dayn I assume we can assume you somehow missed the part that intergalactic space is non-traversable at this point and the transportation of the TTI planet is not immediate?

Yeah, I haven't been following the RP closely for the last couple pages. Relocation postponed, then.

Re: Where we Left Off [RP TITAN]
No, they've survived because they're a lesser threat. If I were to have the forces to spare, I'd take them. But until then, they've simply had FTL and comms jammed.ACH0225 wrote:A Strigiforme Expeditionary Force is attempting to enter former Laruthian space via Tyylvii and Serpentis, which have survived due to their relative unimportance and heavy defences.

Lesser threat=unimportant. The reasoning isn't very important.

It's important. Just not as much as losing the whole MR.ACH0225 wrote:Lesser threat=unimportant. The reasoning isn't very important.

Re: Where we Left Off [RP TITAN]
The NeoRoman Exodus has finally slowed down, and the jumpgate has shut down. The Hierarch is leading the extremely large civilian fleet of over 100,000,000 ships to a large, uninhabited cluster near the edge of the galaxy. All military operations have been suspended, and what remains of the Hierarchy is being consolidated to form what is now known as the NeoRoman Remnants. A great deal of technology has been lost, including the means to produce the technology.
L. Jahgrin has reached out to the AUF, and has asked for NeoRome to regain access to old hardware and installations left behind after their exile.
[Meta]One of the evacuated ships is a dedicated Planet-Former. This ship was commissioned and designed to build planet-sized structures, including M-ARK Stations, Pillars of Victory, and Intergalactic Supergates. Both M-ARK Stations and Pillars of Victory utilize technology not possible to construct without Zero-Point Manipulation Engines, left behind in the evacuation, but the Intergalactic Supergates remain a possibility.
Only a few other pieces of technology remain a possibility without Zero-Point Manipulation Engines. Reflective Shielding, Immortality Engines, and Low-density Singularity Beams can still be constructed without the manipulators.[/Meta]
OOC: Before you ask, Zero-Point Manipulators couldn't be replicate by NeoRome without using other Zero-Point Manipulators, and were planet sized and thus couldn't be transported through. Not even NR really understands their function.

Mebbe the FTL shizzlewizzle will drag us back to the Milky Way.
Or more amusingly, FTL systems will evolve to the point where intergalactic is no more trouble than interstellar and things will happen as normal on a larger scale.

While efforts are focused on the MR, the other seeded areas continue to grow in both size and prosperity. A new fleet is nearing completion.

Re: Where we Left Off [RP TITAN]
I'm considering delving into dimension based FTL. Maybe mass relay style systems. Something to expand the RP out or whatever. But that kinda research takes a lot of effort id rather put towards infrastructure or something.T.O. Bright wrote:Mebbe the FTL shizzlewizzle will drag us back to the Milky Way.

OOC: I will stop using [meta]-tags from now on, as my faction's entire existance is meta at this point, making anything I do meta as well.
On New Equestria, the colonists have set up basic food supply and are starting to construct buildings to allow them to move out of their ships. Cloning of lifestock has begun.

Re: Where we Left Off [RP TITAN]
*Twiddles thumb, waiting for prototype to appear (Again) because plot points*
The NeoRoman Remnants have relocated to the AUF and are now taking residence on former NeoRoman worlds. This was accomplished, officially, by several deals and exchanges of technology between the AUF and NeoRome.
[Meta]In reality, the AUF government has been silently and efficiently replaced by the NeoRoman Hierarchy in a coup, headed by L. Jahgrin. Randall and all members of his government have been executed and NeoRome now effectively controls the entire former AUF.[/Meta]

Personally, just expanding to the local cluster for galaxies would give us more room for Fun and Profit. But returning ti the MW is good too.

Re: Where we Left Off [RP TITAN]
The NEE colonists have finished construction of basic buildings like living spaces and warehouses.
A vote among the colonists has resulted in the NEE assuming a planned economy - at least for now - due to the lack of corporations and the need for organization to facilitate the colonization effort.
Construction is now moving on to more specialized buildings, including a hospital, a school, labs, and a cloning facility
