Considering my planet buster can fire at roughly one shot every 30 minutes if supplied with enough Chaos Emeralds, you might have to actually worry about the integrity of the ringworld by now.

It's like you think the fleets surrounding the Ringworld aren't transmitting the telemetry from the firing to the Barrage Cannons. Additionally, you vastly inderestimate the strength of the shields protecting Ringworld; they're strong, and super shields are deliberately designed to hard counter long range planet busters and decapatory strikes.

Barrage Cannons have begun firing on the MR super weapon locations with Improved Yttrium Warheads.

It's less of a strike, more like a prolonged firing solution.

After triangulating the current positions of the active barrage cannons, a supership and fleet have been pulled off the line for each one firing.

OOC: Ok uuhhh, Shadowcat this is old news but A) All of Laruth's population were in the middle of MR territory B) You sent two fleets at my entire military, what were you expecting to happen? C) Unless you've been talking to the AUF or Strig you would have been in a lot of trouble with those Avatar ships.

BIC: [meta]All of the civillian ships and population as well as most military vessels have escaped with the MR bunker ship to the new galaxy. A massive orbital shipyard is being built around a new planet in preparation for a new Avatar super dreadnought.[/meta]

Charges placed in every civilized area of Laruth are now being detonated, sure to kill anything within a 100 km radius of them. "Laruth is all yours Hexaguth. Our attempted rebellion did not go as planned, we underestimated your military power and give any remaining military power to you."

[meta] Much like the MR, Laruth staged a fake uprising and sent away almost their entire population to the new galaxy. A fleet remains containing a significant amount of Avatar ships as Laruth would still like to see their results in the field. The fleet contains some very experimental and predicted not to work ECM to disrupt any psionic disrupting ships. If successful however the Avatar ships will cut through anything like a hot katana through butter.[/meta]

The Laruthian ships are being immediately deployed, mostly on the Strigiforme front, supplementing the currently away forces.

Intergalactic FTL fluctuations have reached dangerous levels. All FTL travel between galaxies is currently unfeasible to all but the most advanced FTL systems, and even then, damage is to be expected. All intergalactic gate systems have initiated automatic shutdown sequences to avoid power overload, and communication is becoming difficult. Experts theorize that, without a revolutionary new FTL transport mechanism between galaxies, FTL travel is strictly limited to intragalactic travel.

One NR research ship has suggested an explanation for the fluctuations. Based on experiments conducted in dark space, they have concluded that the speed of light is slowing down. The cause is unknown, but this slowing down has dramatically increased the energy density of FTL drives operating in these slowed-down regions, or gates operating between these regions.

The research ship has tested all known FTL systems in dark space. Since the speed of transport relative to light is increasing dramatically, most standard ((AKA moving very fast, not jumping to point B from A)) cores rapidly become unstable and tear apart ships from dramatic FTL stresses. Point-to-point drives are affected in a similar way, but generally suffer immense power overloads and failures when attempting to traverse these areas. The ship believes a massive point-to-point jump gate should be capable of overriding the power overloads through sheer brute force, but calculations suggest that the required gate will be beyond the capabilities of all empires to build.

[Meta-ish] The considerable NR fleet in WLM has begun retreating through the three gates, which are still active ((Brute force)). The Technology-Singularity is set to fire in one day, after the Pillars of Victory have shut off the gates.[/Meta-ish]

Testing with the MW-A JumpGate has proven that it's maximum charge capacity can achieve a safe jump; it likely will not last, however. Thus, all Novan ships are being rushed back to Delta Pavonis, with apologies to the Strigiforme for leaving them hanging.

OOC: Novan jump drives are unusual in that they operate at far higher power levels than most other similar drives; this, "overloading" a jump drive requires ~2.5x the power generqtion capacity of the ship it's mounted on.

Strigiforme forces have begun to move their lines back slightly to allow for more reinforced areas. The Barrage Cannons, being constantly towed around after firing due to the destruction of them in prior wars, were missed by the Hexaguthian attacks.

Final contact was made with Strigiforme Triangulum and Andromeda holdings, with instructions being given to maintain production levels and await reconnection. This message was accompanied by a final shipment of several dozen fleets from Triangulum.

With the sudden increase in light speed fluctuations all military fleets are being pulled back to defend the TTR. The Draco gate has been powered down to avoid damage. Stronger capacitors and systems are being built to hopefully restore the gate to working order.

The sudden loss of contact with Draco forced NIMDA to reevaluate her plans, With much of the plan rendered void by this advancement NIMDA has proceeded to take over all automated systems in the Tajer Draco colonies and assume governmental control under the guise of a government project.
Titan work is being accelerated with much more efficient management by NIMDA along with development of military production facilities.

She idly surveyed the Draco colonies, Watching through thousands of cameras and systems instantly, constantly. Of course this was only a small fraction of her processor power and happened in less then a second. She worried about the Tajerians in the
Milky Way and hoped they would be alright. Bringing up a finished 3D design plan she reviewed the factory shown, it would utilize several new and old technologies to complete its tasks, seeing no issues she sent it off to some worker drone on the planet to begin its construction.
