OOC: I'll allow it, Error.
Also, Vinyl, all the crew quarters are in the gravity ring, unless you're floating around in the armory or the hydroponics bay
Hallix moved through the armory and took hold of the railing connecting it to the upper deck and looked at Sasha. "I imagine you would have already gotten them by now. Regardless, I am allergic to nuts." He paused for a second. "I apologize, but I am a bit busy. Have to prepare a briefing." He started up the hatch.

Re: Galvanized
Let's say Sasha through the inner ring to the outer ring, where she would pass by me. My door is open and Sasha didn't close the transfer door behind her, so I could hear her pose the question, although it was slightly cut off by the transfer door automatically closing.

Re: Galvanized
Amelia was floating around in the briefing room, listening to music on her smartphone. The briefing room was usually empty and it had a nice view of space, so in her opinion it was a pretty great place to just relax.
As she floated around on her back, she thought about the mission, about the scar, about the nukes. Nuclear bombs, humanity's greatest weapon, was surely a great method for vastly reducing any opposition, and Amelia was pretty sure it was the best option in the current situation. But maybe it wasn't. Who could really tell what they were up against anyway?
Her playlist ended, and her mouth was dry, so after deciding to go to her quarters and get some water, she kicked off from a chair and floated towards the hallway.

Arnold was enjoying some quiet in his quarters while laying on his bed thinking about what was to come.
Re: Galvanized
Sorry for the late app.
Name: Reid
Role: Combat, provisional engineer, tech specialist, gunsmith.
Personality: Generally pleasant, usually quiet, somewhat secretive.
Standard equipment:
-MK-5 Solar Suit
-PCA Custom (Custom weapon hardpoints, electrical contacts on gauntlets, upgraded power storage/output)
-Induction-Heated Sword
-X-EMW Repeating Coilgun (or whatever's available if the coilgun's being unstable.)
-Sidearm
-Combat Knife
-Concussion grenades
-Single-use local EMP generator
-Custom ammunition compatible with standard sidearm, ferrous slugs.
Skills: Combat training, technical genius, swordsmanship
Background: The only portions of Reid's record that aren't classified by the government are classified by him. The government took an interest in him after word spread of his innovations and their potential applications for weaponry. Sometime after they began pursuit, he fled the US with a few gigabytes of rather sensitive information and became something of a mercenary. Eventually, he was captured and "recruited," as his abilities were more useful outside of a life sentence. His peculiar mix of talents were used mostly for special operations and espionage, but his previous inventions and technical adeptness accelerated the development of some of the technology used by Alpha. Before launch, he wiped the rest of his record.
Description: Long, blonde, usually disheveled hair; blue eyes; average height; slim, but athletic. Usually seen wearing at least one part of a stripped PCA suit.
Nuke the Scar (Y/N): "Don't care as long as some of it's left to mess with."

Re: Galvanized
Reid drifted, unguided, through the armory, the visor of a PCA helmet covering his face. He opened and closed his hand to make sure that the new components added along the gauntlet's forearm and fingertips didn't interfere with motion. Satisfied, he spoke a command to the helmet computer and grasped the hilt of his sword, bladeless and stripped to expose its heating element. His fingertips sparked as they made contact with the hilt's surface. When the charge indicator on the handguard flashed green, Reid thumbed a switch. The length of the weapon began to glow and heat radiated from its alloy coils. He took his hand away and the glow disappeared.
A bulkhead struck the helmet, sending Reid on a slightly different vector. As he slowly tumbled, an alert appeared in the corner of the HUD: briefing in a few minutes. He deactivated the contact points, gathered the battery, multimeter, and other tools he had been using, spun around, and kicked off from the wall, sending himself toward the storage area. He put the equipment away into his project locker and shut the door, then propelled himself back toward the bulkhead that separated the armory from the access corridor. The helmet he left on, as he discovered early on in their journey that a little extra head protection was rather valuable in null gravity.

Re: Galvanized
Vanidan remained in the bridge; he needed to monitor everything. The burn concluded and he shut the engines off. He turned the ship intercom on again. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we are on our final approach vector to Europa. Please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle until we come to a full and complete stop. Thank you." He shut the intercom off and tuned the central monitor to show the briefing room.
Lavria, meanwhile, was tending to the plants in Hydroponics. Everything doing well, especially the radishes. They would be eating radishes for weeks with this harvest. Her smartphone buzzed, and she took it out and saw the briefing indicator. She made a few last adjustments to the gardens, turned on the heat lamps, and pushed off into the hallway and towards the briefing room.
OOC: Two things. First, most doors on the ship are left open for quick movement. Second, I am granting piloting ability to two individuals, if you want it. We need people to fly the fighters and/or dropship when the time arrives. Vanidan can't do all of them.
Also, the fighters and dropship can be flown remotely, if necessary. From the bridge. That's why there's three chairs.

I suppose all of the technicians should have at least a little piloting skill.

It's a teachable skill. I'm sure it's easily fixed in or out of story._C_ wrote:I suppose all of the technicians should have at least a little piloting skill.

I'll go dropship and/or fighters. Preferably dropship, I don't trust Vin or CvN to quote Ferro properly.

I guess I could do piloting.

Agatha was the first one in the briefing room. She was pretty good at maneuvering in 0G. She was a bit confused by the information, she's got from Hallix. She saw the recordings of this giant thing crashing into Europa and was surprised, that the crust didn't take a lot of damage. And although she was not the science guy, she was able to figure out, that the impact was probably way stronger, than the five nukes, which were to detonate above the surface. She sat there for a minute, when she suddenly got the feeling of being observed by somebody. She looked around the room and noticed a camera, which was active. But it didn't look in her direction. No, there was something living, that observed her, something invisible, something immaterial.
She was panicking. She looked around, like a hunted animal, with fast head movements, always ready to flee. The feeling of anxiety grew stronger. -Klink- A noise. Somebody was there, was it the one observing her? Was it the Scar? Was it here to get her? She began to hyperventilate, what should she do? Agatha gathered all her courage and said: "You... You know that I know you're there, eh?"
"I almost had you!" A crew member came around a corner. Agatha sighed and responded: "Takes a lot more to scare me ya know?"
But the weird feeling didn't go away.

Suddenly, Julo.

Re: Galvanized
OOC: Wasn't a recording, they didn't have video cameras 500 years ago. More like a log entry.
Error, _C_, and CVN will have the piloting skills (since technical expertise).
BIC:
Hallix was searching through one of the locked boxes in the storage room. He had been alone for quite some time, but he could hear activity behind him in the hallway. Responding to his briefing call. He took out a small black box, set it in the air beside him, and then looked a bit deeper in the locker. He found the USB drive he was looking for taped to the top of the drawer. He took it out and closed the drawer. As he was about to turn, he felt steel against his neck. The barrel of a gun.
He whirled around, drawing his sidearm at the same time, pointing it at the perpetrator. But there was nothing there. He looked around. Door still closed, nobody here. He holstered his pistol, slightly confused. He shook his head and looked at his watch. The briefing would begin in a few minutes. He still had a bit to prepare. He grabbed the box, which had drifted a few meters away from him, and headed to the armory.

Arnold decided to leave his quarters. Upon leaving the ring, Arnold moved towards the bridge to check on flight progress due to becoming impatient.
