Designs for an automated corvette and supporting systems have been completed. The final ship measures around what would be deemed a pocket corvette, with all crew systems removed and replaced with autoloading systems and small tunnels for repair droids. The ship is controlled dually by two Bioquantum AIs that communicate with each other, the ship is supported by small collapsible spider droids that crawl through small tunnels snakeing about the ship and they are also capable of accessin the external hull freely unlike regular biological crews.

Several have been produced and deployed with regular patrols to test there feasibility.

Plans for recolonization of the Expanses is underway. The movement is currently being spearheaded by a poll, a poll on what the space should be renamed to. There are several hundred thousand eager citizens, a minority of whom have already begun moving, waiting only for a company to step forward and provide the type of bulk transportation required. As of right now, there are several candidates, at the forefront of which being the Hexalan Corporation, which is most likely seeking to retain the freer (than latter-Empire) Milky Way market.

The Avatar ships have been deemed combat ready, Shuriken, Dagger, Sword, Spear, and Scythe class. The ships respectively are pinnaces, corvettes, frigates, cruisers, and battleships. All ships are outfitted specifically for combat, and are not intended to function in any other roles.

We ask that you keep these ships a secret (although we suspect some of the Galaxy already knows of theses ships) for as long as possible. The designs are so far from traditional Laruthian/Cavnin it is likely anyone who encounters them will not recognize them as such. However their reliance on other ships because of their strictly combat oriented design may be a dead give away that they are Laruthian. Eager colonists are to be ferried to the Expanses by way of refitted freighters and other vessels. The first arrivals will be within the week. However, employees of Hexalan Corp. have already arrived, with the intent of finding anything the Empire accidentally left behind. [meta]Some of the employees have reported strange readings from Manufactorum Primaris, as well as noted apparent activity. They have been appropriately notified to not attempt any form of contact with the entire system, pending an investigation. Minute signature fluctuations have begun appearing in all intergalactic FTL systems in operation. Barely detectable, they are not high enough to be of any significance.

[Meta]The Strigiforme Psionic Obfuscater is fully operational around the Torus. All AUF Psionic sensors cannot detect anything within the area of effect. The dead zone is extremely obvious, but it is capable of hiding anything going on within it's area of influence from Psionic scanners.

Most Armada groups are gearing for war with the MR, considering that their actions pose an extremely serious threat to the AUF. The situation must be taken extremely delicately; a war with the rest of the UGC, especially the Novan Commonwealth, would be cataclysmic for the AUF. Plans are being drafted in order to instigate a war without the AUF being directly at fault.

With this fleet being secret and due to it being stationed in Draco de facto impossible to detect by non-UGC members, it would create massive surprise to anyone who would attack the MR.[/meta]

Industrial investments and immigration into the Zuguthian Colonies have greatly boosted the MR economy. Many of the remaining structures have been sold to high-risk investors at a low price.

While the Order is allowed to ship into the MR, taxes on all objects shipped through or into the MR mean that, as the Order's territory is surrounded by MR systems, the MR financially profits form their activity [meta]and has access to detailed export and import lists of the Order. Meanwhile, members of the Order in the MR are being monitored by secret service.[/meta] The Order is allowed to build their temples [meta]but as soon as the MR gets evidence on them recruiting people for terrorist activity, they will likely be arrested and the Order flagged as a terrorist organization.[/meta]

The Strigiforme have begun new measures to cement the K'lii as one of the most traded currencies in the galaxy. Due to the collapse of several major empires in recent times, the Galactic Credit is being cautiously used, and subject to frequent and rapid price fluctuations. The K'lii, being regulated by the Strigiforme Government, has remained more or less stable.

With the new SDI partnerships, Ryytils psionic shock troopers are being offered to be stationed in Macai and AUF space, along with joint-controlled SDI bases to supplement local forces.

I'm making the assumption that the Credit was almost universal, and used by empires like Hexalani and Zuguth, who just left and caused major economic trauma because of that. Combined with the infrequent wars, and the NeoRomans leaving, I'd say the comparatively unregulated Credit is more unstable than the K'lii.
