I've noticed there aren't any mechs with another leg style.

Could you make the Batiss main color a tad darker?maybe replace the handprint on the legs with some dark red that continues down to the foot.

Justbthe black. Its at like a charcoal but a jet or onyx might look better. maybe replace the handprint on the legs with a dark red stripe that continues down to the foot. Stick the peregrine symbol anywhere if you want to use it.

Not so sure about a stripe, I can't make it the same width all the way down because not all the pixels actually line up. In fact barely any do.

I might be able to stick the Peregrine symbol somewhere, but I'm still undecided where.

Muhbuh the peregrine symbol could go on the shoulders? That banner is kind of wimpy right there. The stripe could go on a single part, I was thinking the long middle one on the bottom of the leg

Hmmm... That could work. I could quite easily tack another high res shape on there so I can fit the whole thing on. I'd have to invert the emblem but that's no biggie. The stripe would defiantly work there, that parts shaped but I can literally just colour in the entire front face.

Also I'm putting a test release together for Monorisu to use again, I've got my plane physics sorted, and the Dolphin works with proper VTOL now, all I need to do it get tanks done and apply plane physics. I might not get the Peregrine skin done, but what's there is acceptable for a prerelease IMO, and it'll be dealt with before a full release.



EDIT: also forgot to mention, after a conversion with Ivan I realised I could make a super cool stationary turret by cutting the legs off a mech and killing it's mobility. That way we can have a stationary turret with the same modular gun system as the mechs. I'd like to do something like this after the Peregrine as I'm really falling flat with Cronus's design.

I'm also thinking that the top part could use some ornamentation. Maybe some claw marks or something. I dunno. Later version of the texture, if you don't have the time.

I could do some other stuff if you have anything on the to-conceptualize list. A plantigrade-leg-style mech, perhaps? I have a few in reserve that I need to redraw. Do the shoulders of mechs have to be even with each other or can they be asymmetrical?

Asymmetry is totally possible now. I also coded something in so we can have independently moving gun barrels.

But more concepts would be awesome, I'm trying to get a big NSCD mech done (Cronus), but I've been getting a bit of a block with them. I have a head design sort of made, but nothing more.

Right so back to that comprehensive review im working on.
Between the Fc and sci-fi pack I have good news and bad news.
Good news: All of the team gun and armor textures look great
Bad news: only four guns out of the whole two packs work and only four are 3D (ignoring mech guns)
So yeah FC pack right now is basically three sets of decorational armor.

But on the bright side, Im trying to get back into techne to work on some team idea's and guns are like a dime a dozen to make so that can be fixed relatively fast.

I hope 1.8 stuff starts rolling out soon, I hear id's are gone which means no more of that id conflict crap :D and models are supposed to be easier now too from what I've heard also.

You should probably wait until I've fixed stuff for 1.7.10 before trying to do a review on it.

And yeah, IDs are gone since 1.7, it's all done by shortnames and Lang files now.

So I don't understand why or how, but the Dragon won't fire unless it's on a mech...

If I can work out exactly why I can make some true mech only guns.

It was broken, and now I've fixed it, and can't break again. Would any of you mind testing this version of the pack? And tell me if you see the same thing,
