There is no localized engineering area in the bridge...
And the entire hulk we're is is the bridge.

"Tajer, return me to Val," JAG said, still colored red. "You are approaching the cutoff point for Sector 7 and will suffer extremely if you enter it."

Re: Futurecraft: Macropolitical Personification Iteration #3
Strigiforme, having incapacitated the catgirl, began asking her questions.
"Who is the you? Where are of the us?"
I'm kinda assuming that Vinyl went off after Tajer, because Cube is more important than Error.

Re: Futurecraft: Macropolitical Personification Iteration #3
Tajer can't do anything to Cube. Cube is only in whatever danger he allows himself to be put in. Cube should probably look in his pockets. [/hinthint] Besides, Hexalan just walked through a door that still doesn't make sense to her. Also, Error is standing in as First Officer (sorry Daynel, but you're just not fit for a leadership role on a warship), I only leave men behind when they're beyond saving. Besides, Val's not in too much danger, but still, Hexalan'd rather stay nearby. We don't need any dead right now. Except Tajer.
"Laura, can you get me a realtime position on Tajer? I'd rather like to keep tabs on him, you know, for JAG's sake."

"Tracking feed sent to your HUD. Someone remind Tajer his suit gives off thermal emissions better than a warstripe." replied Laura.
Val, having reaquired her weapons, sheathed the sword and looked over at Strigiforme.
"Don't recognize me, old man? And I'm not sure. Large spaceship, supercarrier or titan size. Called... actually, has anyone found a name for this beast?"

"If we've lost as much hull as JAG claims, and there's still this much left, it'd easily be a Harbinger. As for the name, UMFSV Shattered light at the breaking of dawn. I thought you CNI people were supposed to be good at remembering stuff, or is my intel outdated again?"

Remember nothing after the ARK invasion. But have all memories previously. Also, I am writing a fiction about the personifications playing what amounts to strip poker. Should be fun.
BIC,
"So that's our predicament. Alarmingly familiar, with more hull damage. Hexalan, can we start the drives or will be fall apart? Also, CNI is god at this stuff. Doesn't mean I remember anything more'n you about how we got here."

"How we got get here has nothing to do with the ship's name, it was right there on the screen, you know, the room you were in for that rather long while, filled with consoles that all had the exact same messages on them..."

"Fine, you can feel all superior. Also, why can't these little unexpected trips ever be boring? You know, wait for rescue, break out the cards, etc."

"Laura..?"
"It seems to be a wormhole of spme kind. Fairly low-energy."
Val shrugged, stepping though.

"Experiencing any immediate side effects?" Hexalan looked up slightly from the exposed panel she was squatting in front of, wires dangling out of it.

"Not that I can detect." replied Laura.
"None that I can feel. So, the Zuguthians designed at least part of this beast."
