Strigiforme did not get a response as the rabbit-eared catgirl slammed into him at speed. His attempt to rezpond was met with a thump aross the forehead with the sword pommel, and the angry red cube sat on the floor.
Val glared at the owl, nibmly dodging his swings and tossed cooking utensils, occasionally trying to get in a sword swing or laser shot.
(Imgaine: owl trying to hit the catgirl, who is spending her time dodging and utilizing the deathglare. Someone come around the corner now, please.)

A nearby door opened. Hexalan stepped out of it. "I'd ask what's going on, but I'm more concerned with this door. It shouldn't be here."

Wait, what about those landmines I set in the blind spots of corners? Those should definitely have caused you some srs pain, if not further blindness.
Strigiforme decided to end this, and full body slammed the Aurelian, pinning her arms to her sides. While at the start of the slam, she tried to stab him, the blade was knocked out of her hands by one of his extremely strong gripping power talons. He slammed his beak onto her left temple, knocking her out.(or, disabling psionics)
Pre-emptively pointing out that he is bigger, stronger, and heavier. Even with psionics in the fight, this is too close range to ignore the advantage he has.

"If you two don't cut that out, I will intervene." Hexalan threw a stern look in their direction as she inspected the impossible door.

Re: Futurecraft: Macropolitical Personification Iteration #3
John who was marching about the ship collecting information about its status walked around a corner and discovered an Arulian and Strigiforne fighting each other. 'Well then!' He thought as the strigiorme brutally triumphed over the arulian. Walking up unnoticed he jammed his rifle into the back of the strigifornes head and fired a number of stub rounds into it. Picking up a red cube and a grenade he noted "While we do have an alliance" setting the grenade for ten seconds tossing it on the ground and dragging the arulian off into another corridor "the tajer are never one to keep their words" he finished waking around the corner.

That's definitely wrong in so many ways.

OOC: I'm literally right there. And it's a feature.
"Tajer! Good, I needed a test subject."
EDIT: OOC: The door is a wormhole gate. Do you have any idea how long it would take to travel the ship by conventional means? It doesn't have like, a tram system or anything like that.

James idly noted the Hexelan around the corner and responded with "Fuck you". Looking towards the cube he asked "You cube please direct me to the nearest database access point".
OOC: ACH you have ten seconds, James Bond would be on the other side of the ship by now.

Strig has really good ears; you can't just sneak up behind.Shadowcat wrote:James idly noted the Hexelan around the corner and responded with "Fuck you". Looking towards the cube he asked "You cube please direct me to the nearest database access point".

Deadly radiation abounds, you can't just walk into this area of ship
You would have been promptly slapped down by Strig the moment you got close, then knocked out and tied up with Aurelian(if you know what I mean)

Strig was in middle of a fight, was too busy slapping catgirl to notice. Suit is ALL terrain, it functions as a space suit and has a rebreather unit, meaning it doesn't experience trivial problems such as radiation.ACH0225 wrote:Strig has really good ears; you can't just sneak up behind.Shadowcat wrote:James idly noted the Hexelan around the corner and responded with "Fuck you". Re: Futurecraft: Macropolitical Personification Iteration #3
Forum fails to post my post, topkek. Slight edit, due to reflexes and amusement:
Val saw the owl moving, leapt to the side, and brouht her sword around; earning herself a solid smack on the arm and a sword clattering away down the hall. Growling, she went for the laspistol, only to be slapped by the rather stronger owl, sending her skidding down the hall and into a wall on the far end.
Glaring at the owl, she stood, bracing herself on the wall, and muttered a few curses before joining Hexalan at the mystery door #1.
(Note, edit because slapping the catgirl would quite literally send her flying.)

This is Super Special Plot Radiataion. Suits are irrelevant.Shadowcat wrote:Suit is ALL terrain, it functions as a space suit and has a rebreather unit, meaning it doesn't experience trivial problems such as radiation.

Strig had just beaten catgirl, and vinyl made him pay attention to outside world.
You know Strig wrapped you in what is essentially a full body hug, right?

Re: Futurecraft: Macropolitical Personification Iteration #3
You realize Aurelian reflexes are about 1/12th of human average, right? She moved, so you * her down the hall and deprived her of her weapons at the same time.
