(Meta) Collary to previous: the Novans have begun preparing Distant Memory's supplies and equipment for an intergalactic trip. A JumpGate is under construction to go with them. Destination unknown. Note: the ship will be refitted post-ARK battle.(/meta)
A message has been transmitted to the Hexalani: requesting all available ground forces for an attack on an ARK. Will provide cover for the transports.
Surprisingly few losses have occurred amongst the Phantom Fleet; mainly underequipped mercenary vessels. The total fleet strength is now 1,527 ships. Dropping slowly.

Re: Where we Left Off[RP SUPER-THREADNOUGHT]
According to the Novan's request for ground forces, 100 Legions have been dispatched (a Legion is the largest unit of troops that could be assigned to a Fleet, and is the most known measure. There are higher amounts, but they have been seldom used. Oh, and a Legion is composed of around 400k soldiers, if you were wondering. Also, there's around 7000 Legions available, with a previous 9200, having been cut down substantially during the Strigiforme war as well as dispersal of forces from relocation of the main comprising force.) They will be delivered using available carriers and troop transports.

I've tellinged you, our only advantage is ground. We don't have near enough ships let alone food storage and waste disposal on our ships to not have more than a couple in space at all times.L-ADM Error wrote:Well, I see we have our invasion force. Welp.

(You mean the third ARK error, First was Nova beamed, Second was Jarvised or whatever, Third apperantly has real shields and needs to be Deathstar'd)

Re: Where we Left Off[RP SUPER-THREADNOUGHT]
:::TRANSMISSION TO FLEET:::
This is Commander Omega of the NSCD, I detect you're all about to attempt to disable an ARK from within.
If you choose to do this, you are going to find this a lot easier with my assistance. Whatever blueprints or plans you are using are not necessarily going to guarantee your success. I suspect the PRIME within the core of that ARK has noticed you by now, and will be doing everything possible to stop you from reaching it's core.
Disabling the PRIME will not necessarily disable the station, but it will mean you meet less resistance. You could lose entire armies inside that station, and that is not necessary.
The quickest way to reach the PRIME is to enter through cyberspace, you'll be able to confront the program directly, but you'll also be almost entirely at it's mercy unless you have another program of similar capabilities to fight it.
I will be landing on the surface with a small team, if you can get me to a command post I will be able to enter the ARK's cyberspace directly and confront it's PRIME. I will supply navigational data once I get a hold of the station's blueprints.
As for the other two, there is a small barrage of Devil missiles on their way, you might want to pull your forces away to a reasonable distance.
:::TRANSMISSION END:::
As the transmission cut off, the first of the devil missiles launcher from ARK-1, building up speed while it's sunspace core charged. Once it had the missiles disappeared through a hole into subspace. The missile was purely kinetic, and relied upon nothing but mass to inflict damage, subspace was stretched around it, then instantaneously
A subspace portal opened just over one of the hostile ARKs, as the subspace snapped back to it's original shape and size, it propelled the warhead out of the other side at near light speed. Rather than release all it's energy upon impact, the missile just kept ploughing through the layers of the ARK, causing immense damage as it passed through. In the blink of an eye it punched through the outer layers of the ARK, and a fraction of a second later it arrived in the central core, obliterating it a fraction of a second later, knocking out the central power grid, and bringing vital systems to a grinding halt, most importantly the defence network. The bombardment fleet would be able to finish it off in due time.

The Novans have begun to land, clearing a small landing area with minimal losses; it is restricted to small dropships until a larger zone can be secured. All dropships are advised it is a hot LZ.

Re: Where we Left Off[RP SUPER-THREADNOUGHT]
10 ARK stations have jumped through sub-space into the middle of Draco territory; three have jumped immediately surrounding the gate. They are currently jamming all transmissions and communications in every spectrum, subspace and otherwise, with extreme static noise and transmission filtering. Two have jumped in the middle of the joint Tajer-Darkstar fleet.
_________
Jahgrin entered the teleportation matrix with a small force behind him. He heard the N.C.S.D's message and relayed a response. "This is L. Jahgrin of NeoRome. Cyberspace will not be necessary; once we find a data-link, we can upload a virus powerful enough to completely occupy the PRIME unit. But time is of the essence." He shut off the channel. After a few seconds, they finally moved around the 6.6 AU diameter D-ARK station. With a whirr, the portal opened, and Jahgrin's PSI-OP's team went through directly into a large data-core room on the surface. Other NeoRoman teams quickly followed.

Re: Where we Left Off[RP SUPER-THREADNOUGHT]
The MR forces at the Draco Gate are retreating back through the gate into the milky-way, transmitting the orders through light-flash codes using their navigation lights.
------------
At D-ARK:
A group of MR Fox-class frigates arrived, each carrying a company of psi-ops special forces to participate in the assault on the ARK.

Re: Where we Left Off[RP SUPER-THREADNOUGHT]
:::MESSAGE TO L.JAHGRIN:::
A virus attack might just work against an ARK of this class, I trust you know what you are doing there, but unless you've got a stash of Virus-X somewhere there is little chance you'll be able to do the same to that Dreadnought ARK. Our scans indicate it is the control centre for this region, meaning it's going to have capabilities on par, if not greater than that of ARK-1, Virus-X might have a chance, but even that can be defended against by the systems installed on this class of ARK. A cyberspace attack could work, but I can't guarantee anything, only one individual has ever defeated a PRIME of that class, and said individual is rather dead.
However if we can knock out part of it's power grid we can weaken the PRIME, but I suspect the Dreadnought ARK has subspace defences, which might render our anti-ARK weapons useless. We shall relocate to an assault position over D-ARK, I should be able to glean navigational data for a ground based assault. And if all else fails we can bring ARK-1 here operating at full combat capability, but I will only commit to this as a last resort.
I'm sending some Lamentor derivative squads to the lesser ARK to assist your teams, I'll patch them to respond to your commands.

"Better now than never."
"We're not done our tests, we nee-"
"You can't test something like this. Too big. Order the jumps. And signal the civvies to hold on."
- - -
The ever-increasing power signatures from Novus, Aquaria, and Hahnsak have vanished suddenly, returning to normal. In their place is now massive neutrino and thermal emissions from the northern pole of each world.
- - -
"Ready." called a technician.
"All brace. Flow to the core?" asked a man with Commander's bars.
"Smooth and steady. Three seconds."
The commander grinned sagely. "Jump."
The planet, spinning serenly on its orbit, began to glow a gentle blue; as the core reached full charge, the planet was entirely engulfed in a brivht flash; a jump-flash visible to the entire system. The worlds, its orbitals, and all the present ships had departed.
--> Andromeda Galaxy: Long Reach System, high orbit over LR VI<--
With a blast of multispectra radiation, a blue world appeared in orbit of the Jewel gas giant. The precisely calculated jump left them in a perfect orbit; incoined enough to avoid the giant's shadow, but flat enough for easy navigation.
With an equal explosion of light, the world Hahnsak brought her deserts into the system in a closer orbit; trailing the Pandora colony by several AU.
To bring finality, Aquaria showed, joining her sister Novus in adding a moon to Jewel; the two blue-green worlds had matching orbits, always just visible to each other past the gas giant.
Given the almost-nil population remaining in the Milky Way, evacuations are almost complete, and colonies and cities there are being either removed for materials or preserved. They ask that nobody enters their technically-former territory; intending to keep it as a massive-scale natural sanctuary.
Long Reach, retermed by its official name Delta Extigens, is now being sorted out, with trade lines, spacelanes, military zones, and orbital defenses being shuffled around.
OOC: Before someone calls BS, this was run past Fen, and he agreed: its essentially canon that a jump drive can move anything (ANYTHING) given enough power. Capacitors the size of a skyscraper and a planetary power grid should do the trick.

THATS IT!
*The CIC went silent for a minute,and then..
- Lets roll!
* HELL was unleashed within the fleet. That was the fight of their lives,and if it was the last,it would be the best that they had. Ships went on full rage,and even some bold frigates were using their shields to create a frontal shield,trying to penetrate as must as they could directly at the alien big spacestations.
The gate was always manned,and the many "analogical" systems [BATTLESTAR GALACTICA,BRO] installed by default came in handy. As soon as most of the fleet jumped away,a big explosion followed. The gate colapsed in some kind of "black hole" ,acting as a jump inibitor and with the capability of destroying the entire solar system with the fold faults opening all over.
