Val glanced up sharply.
"I just heard... something. But there's no psionic signature." she drew her weapon, moving towards the sound.
"Be aware. Life-form scanners indicate an avian. Species indeterminate. I advise caution." commented Laura.

"Great, a bird.", Bossy said, drawing his pistol, a rather simple, semi-automatic, chemically-driven projectile weapon used as the standard sidearm in the MR.
"Bird and no psionic signature. Sounds like Owl."

"Owl? I suppose we all know who that could be." Hexalan, not having holstered her pistol yet, continued to not do so.

Zuguth looked up from his iCore for a moment to gie his opinion of the situation.
"Guys come on, just because it's grandpa Strigiforme doesn't mean we have to draw guns. True, he always just tries to kill us or force his views down our throats, but can't we, just this once, try for a diplomatic solution?"

"Psionic deadzone about fifty meters down the hall. Definitely Strigiforme. Weapons ready." Val said, advancing. Upon reaching the door, she touched the panel to open it, stepping backwards swiftly and bringing the sidearm up.

Strigiforme fell out onto his face as the door was opened suddenly. His rucksack fell next to him, the sound of the grenades banging against the pan audible. Strigiforme swiveled his head around to look at the ones who had saved him, and found the barrels of several guns pointed at him, the glare from the lights blurring the people's faces.
"What, pointing guns at me just because I am an owl. Racists."
Strigiforme grabbed his rucksack, attached it to his leg, and strode off.

"Fuck sake." muttered Val. Raising the weapon, she fired, the blue lance of the beam punching the air over the owl's soldier.
"Justified racism, you fascist bastard. What're you doing here?"

"Fuck off, you hippies!"
Strigiforme flew away, his personal shield activate to absorb any shots at him.

Re: Futurecraft: Macropolitical Personification Iteration #3
I got one.
Name: JAG-771-"RING"
Personification of: NeoRome
Age: Unknown
Appearance: None
Notable Traits & Abilities: JAG-771-"RING" is the ship AI, residing currently in a 10x10x10 cm cube etched with glowing blue lines. Capable of speaking out loud (the blue lines pulse with his speaking) and hyper-intelligent. Locked out of the ship for unknown reasons and has no control, unless inserted into the appropriate receptacle slots (conveniently shaped to fit his cube, might I add). Each slot only controls a small portion, such as a door or communications.
Equipment: Super-Intelligence, small sensor system, small shield generator, small psionic matrix generator. The usual.
AUF is kill, btw. Did not survive.

Re: Futurecraft: Macropolitical Personification Iteration #3
JAG slowly became aware of his surroundings as he finally came back online. He was very deeply confused as to why he was on the ceiling before he realized his bearings were wrong, and he righted himself. He cycled power through his systems to start up the remaining systems and ran a check on himself.
To begin, he was no longer in the main AI core. That was... unexpected. He quickly checked his database for why he was no longer in control of the ship when he ran into a very unexpected error; Access Denied. A huge section of his memory was inaccessible. He couldn't estimate the time period; he distinctly remembered the ARK invasion, but everything past that was blank. Very curious.
He then tried to cycle his movement systems. Normally, he would be able to propel himself by manipulating gravity, but the system refused to respond. Correction; the system was gone. Curiouser and Curiouser. So he was stuck.
He ran full power to his sensor system and became aware of his surroundings entirely. A large, angular room. He recognized the design but couldn't place it; it incorporated NeoRoman design philosophies, but the actual constructor was a mystery. Or rather, good friend Access Denied wouldn't let him. There were multiple table-like protrusions in the room, dozens. From their power signatures, JAG realized they were consoles. Holographic ones, if their featureless markings were any indication. He was on the floor in the middle of the room. And he was detecting life signs as well.
This was his chance. He started up his voice modulator and quickly cycled through the various tones and speech patterns; the lights on his cube rapidly flashed until it settled on a cobalt-blue color. He thought for a second before starting.
"Hello?" he asked, just loud enough for the life-forms to hear him. His words were strained, almost as if he was in pain. Several were human; one he recognized as a changeling, and a final was Strigiforme, but he was far away. "Could- could I have some help here? In the holo-graphic room."

Hexalan glanced at Val. Checking her motion tracker, it placed the source of the sound waves... on the floor. Looking around, in a faint outline was a cube detailed with blue lines covering it. "Great, more AIs."
"I am a QI."
"Shut up, Laura."

OOC: * never posted a name, Oh well il wing it.
John woke up in a dark hallway smelling of booze. Clearly he had been at some extravagant party and passed out on a floor. Standing up he dusted himself off and looked about, his helmet enhancing his vision to look like it was daytime, suddenly his speakers flared up and a faint "hello?" could be heard, Following the direction his HUD pointed him he arrived at a metal door, his thermals picking up heated things on the otherside, presumably lifeforms so doing what any normal rational person would do he banged on the door. After that he started looking at a panel to the side covered in buttons, noting his suit not translating it he activated the language protocols and started pressing buttons, One made an annoying beep sound, one turned the lights in the hallway on (and was progressively marked as lights by the HUD), then finally one opened the door revealing a startled looking person behind it.
