Fleets have been returned to defensive positions, ground forces are being returned to garrisons, and Prowlers are assembling over Hahnsak.

[meta]The Strigiforme have finished work on a high-yield, high applicability Yttrium warhead similar in yield to Tachyon-Subspace weapons. It is an upsized Yttrium charge, with some advances minimizing the size as much as possible. The Barrage Cannons have received a shipment of them, but have been ordered not to fire them yet. Work on Subspace disruptors continues, with the underlying theory behind them understood, but their price being prohibitively expensive. The Ringworld is undergoing massive external repairs, with the surface being restructured and new colonists being shipped in. A starfort is being built in an orbit just outside the Ringworld's, having vast hangar capacity and new long range missiles. The Ringworld's weapons systems remain operational and charged in case of an AUF attack. [meta]

Research : Research on shielding is a steady and continuous effort. Upgrades on the energy matrix of the fold-quartz power plants are on going.

Research 2 : Nanotechnology is being studied,as well as Stealth and Sensor technologies. All are being deemed "too important" to not be upgraded.

[Meta]The psionic virus has been traced to the Strigiforme and a cure developed; the cure has been unofficially added to each citizen's vaccine P.A.K (Protective-Assisting-Kit). All known cases of the virus (reported by the media as a seasonal flu) are being tracked down and recruited in the psionic program, if the abilities persist.

Scientists at the New Antioch Research Institute (N.A.R.I) have developed a small module, compatible with AUF Plasma shield generators, that successfully negate shield-phasing warheads. The module uses some shield energy to vibrate the shield through subspace, forcing any warheads to revert to realspace. The module is relatively inexpensive and is being rolled out to every AUF ship.

The module is highest-classification: Only the highest level of government and military officials know it exists.
