The Strigiforme forces in the AUF have begun retreating to Strigiforme borders, and the Council offers a formal ceasefire to begin peace negotiations towards the AUF. Strigiforme forces in Novan space continue their advance.

The 10 Novan warheads approach the Ringworld, passing through a war zone of near-light speed dust clouds, which destroy 4 of the missiles. The remaining 6 continue their approach, now entering point-defence range. The guns pick off another 3, leaving 3 missiles. By this time, the emergency missile proximity detector, which is on because there is a battle going on, has been activated, with shields going up to cover the 8 military bases. The 3 missiles impact, two taking out already destroyed areas, the third killing 2 million innocent hatchlings who all wanted to become international Red Cross doctors. Good job.

E-100: Heavy worker robots with no capability of being outfitted with weaponry.

Commonwealth planetary shields are holding under the Barrage Cannon hits, but will not be able to do so for long; Novus itself is experiencing blackouts and massive power drains to two locations, both unknown (for now).

OOC: I'm basically sitting back, watching how things turn out and stuff. With a planet buster and a moon buster both aimed at the Ringworld. And all my fleets on standby. Which are constantly growing bacause I keep building more ships.

The Strigiforme would like to point out the double standard here, wherein the AUF and MR have planetary destruction weapons without any restrictions or international interference. This should also be taken into account with the fact that the Ringworld was only used once in a war in response to an attack on the Strigiforme.

The Strigiforme refuse to disable or destroy the Ringworld, and will destroy a heavily populated world of the enemy should they attack. The Strigiforme ask you to consider the losses associated with continuing to press your attacks on our systems.

(I'm kinda assuming the Novan forces have been withdrawn; the AUF all left, and the system is full of ships from nearby garrisons, alongside all the existing defences.)

The virus has no visible effects on non-psionics, but causes flu-like symptoms in psionics and removes the gene trigger to psionic abilities entirely, creating a third state of psionic impotence. The Strigiforme have begun massive R&D projects focusing on forcing objects to drop out of Subspace in response to documented shield phasing missiles and to hostile long range missiles. Omega... By the time this reaches you Genesis will have activated, and as a result of that you will now be walking in a very different world to what you've come to know...

Two days ago I picked up a very disturbing energy signature, I didn't know what but it was of a kind we believed to be entirely extinct. Approximately 3 minutes ago, I was able to confirm the signature. We are dealing with Virus-X (OOC: the same virus from the Virus RP). I was able to confirm this.... Because it had infiltrated the deep core of the ARK, which it had been unable to do last time round.

Because of this I have no choice but to activate the Genesis protocol, if the Virus still propagates within sentient beings and machinery we can kill it off while it is contained within the ARK. If it spreads... We won't be able to stop it this time.

I regret to inform you that as a result of the protocol, the NSCD will, in essence, cease to exist. The core programs of every sentient and non-sentient machine will be entirely wiped. However, with one exception.

You might recall you were given your body in order to protect you from corruption by Virus-X, and this same trait renders you immune from the wiping effects of Genesis. But at the same time Genesis will render you entirely mortal.

When you read this, you will be entirely alone out there. The task you now face will be the most difficult challenge of your life. ARK-1 will have been presumed dead by any party that knew of it's existence by now. As far as the universe is concerned, we are long gone.

It is up to you to do something about that.


I mentioned before about your body being mortal, which will greatly hinder your efforts. However, this has been prepared for. A secure body has been stored away in the deep core of the ARK, born from the same program that created your Lamentor body. We call it the Lamentor II, but you can call it whatever you like, it won't matter by then.

Upon activation of this terminal it will be brought up to the citadel automatically, after which the genesis device will reset, and the ARK will deactivate temporarily.
