Omega wandered around the upper layers of the Citadel, for the time being it seemed he was the only unit active. He figured that the other machines would jump online as soon as the remaining systems on the ARK had fully activated.
However, unknown to Omega, while the machines would activate... They would not function as they had previously. Whatever had taken the ARK offline had also wiped the basic program from each and every unit. Omega was the only clear survivor, whether or not the rest of the surviving origin series were wiped was unclear. Delta had been on a ship in orbit at the time, and Theta was still locked away.
Omega wondered what had happened to the ships in orbit, the few scanners that were currently functioning showed no objects in orbit, implying the fleet had either moved away or crashed back down onto the ARK. However while sensors in the surface indicated damage had been taken at some point, none showed any damage on the scale of an object the size of the Archetype striking the surface.
As Omega roamed the halls of the Citadel, he witnessed something strange, a solitary orb of light floating in mid air. However he could not sense any physical light being emitted, nor the object having any mass or any evidence that it existed. Yet he saw it clear as day.
The orb retreated down the hall, away from Omega, disappearing into one of the numerous vents.
Deep below the surface, the first of ARK-1s reactors fired up. If they were hiding from something then they were now very much visible to the outside. With the additional power long range scanners fired up, revealing the ARK to be floating in dead space. The star it used to orbit was gone, and there was no sign of the of the rest of the CRH system, not even of Skytheria.

"Everything looks to be in order... Welcome to Zuguth, Admiral!" The official spoke as he shook the Lord of Admiral's hand.
"Thank you, I'll be on my way."
As she walked down the street, Scratchovski took in the landscape. In the distance lay the main landing center of the spaceport, looming on the horizon and flanked by sparse yet many tall buildings. The sight was a refreshing change from the dense, dark, and crowded Hexalani sectors. In fact, one would almost never see the full height of a sky scraper, as the streets were usually decked up to near every floor, and the light a near-constant orange glow.
Arriving in the penthouse, she motioned for the android that had been following her to set down her luggage. Stepping up to the panoramic window, and gazing through the almost perfectly clear glass, real glass, at the populace below. Truly, a sight to behold. The android left for a time, arriving again, bearing a serving cart. On it were several dishes, each flourished with a selection of cuisine, mostly local, but some obvious imports. Namely the cured meats of which Scratchovski and any Hexalani would recognize merely by the smell. Choosing a selection of foods she'd describe derogatorily as Novan, the admiral sat on the large, tan couch, which was positioned for an ideal view of the skyline.

Re: Where we Left Off[RP SUPER-THREADNOUGHT]
The MR has been raised up to DEFCON-2.
[meta]The Eclipse Cannon has been pre-programmed with the coordinates of the first Barrage Cannon and has begun its charging cycle. The Gaia has been entered the coordinates of the ringworld as well as several other major Strigiforme systems and is being loaded with several shots. The secret Warp Ring Missile Launcher is on standby, with T/S warheads being loaded.[/meta]
//message to Strigiforme//
The use of a thermonuclear planet buster is greatly frowned upon by the MR.
For now, we will not join the war with the AUF and Novus, but we remind you to keep in mind that we are a democracy and that, if you fire the weapon another time, it is uncertain how the vote for war on the Strigiforme will turn out.
//end of message//
[meta]The Genesis-packages have been recieved at the Draco-colonies, where the contents are being used in the cloning facilities to populate the main planets.
The infrastructure continues to grow and a robot factory has been built on a moon of one of the main planets, producing multi-purpose robots capable of both helping with labor, building the colony, and acting as ground troopers in case of an invasion. Planetside construction continues to be modeled after Hexalani worlds. An underground bunker-shipyard has also entered construction.
The flux-scanning update has been applied to all psionic long-range scanners of the MR.
Retrofit of the Mobocarriers is expected to be finished within two weeks.[/meta]
The replacement-ships are quickly rolling off the production line, and funding for their production has been increased due to the threat of war, so their production speed will increase even more.
Humanitarian aid (OOC: Yes, really, no hidden weapons or anything) consisting of food supplies has been delivered to Zuguth, as Hexalani refuges are expected to cause food shortages.

The Cuuyth ones get murdered immediately. No contest. Orbital defences outnumber you ~8:1, ships 3:1.Professor Fenway wrote: -8 Strigiforme Core worlds are being assaulted by AUF fleets, decently sized and highly advanced. Their tactics are to cripple vital infrastructure, deliver tactical blows, engage in hit-and-run tactics. They will also avoid direct confrontation with any defensive fleets if possible, and only as a last resort. The systems being assaulted are;
>Cuuyth (Portal just near the main shipyard)
>Ringworld system (Near the Ringworld)
>Last-known Stauros Location (where it was during Hex attack; presumed to be core system)
>Former Barrage Cannon location (The one that was destroyed)
>New Barrage Cannon location (The first, AUF doesn't know where second one is)
>3 other Strigiforme core worlds (IDK Ach, choose).
Ringworld-
"Commander, large enemy forces on scanners. IFF and visual analysis shows them as forces of the AUF."
"Activate the Aegis and Sandstorm. Let none of them through."
All around the Ringworld, magnetic manipulation fields seized clouds of dust and hurled them at the ships at near light speed. While small, they wore down shields due to the mass being tossed around. The weapons platforms open up, firing anti-ship missiles and medium laser pulses.
Last known Stauros position- Nothing there. No planets in the system.
Former Barrage Cannon position-That was Cuuyth. They are promptly murdered.
Current Barrage Cannon location- They have been being towed around, so it's a generic system where a battle ensues
3 other core systems- Large battle ensues, with Strig forces from nearby being called in and turning away the AUF
Strigiforme forces on both the AUF border and the Novan border begin attacking enemy worlds. The Barrage Cannons have begun to fire on enemy fortifications and manufacturing plants. Several shots have been fired at the Novan gate to Andromeda, with Strigiforme forces in Andromeda attacking the Novans as well.
The Novan missiles hit several border worlds, however most had their orbital shielding prepared and survived more or less unharmed. The missiles aimed at Cuuyth are swatted down by point defence.
Can you guys stahp? Seriously, MQR and Novans fire all kinds of nukes at my planets and nobody cares, but I blow up one enemy world and everybody freaks out.

Nobody cares because you're the evil bastard; the evil bastard can get bashed on freely. You're the galaxy's punching bag.
Instead of EEEEVIL OWLZ maybe go for a gray and gray morality, like everyone else?
BIC;
The fleets in Hexalani space have been redirected to the ringworld system, and are fighting alongside the AUF forces present.
The Sword of Damocles is relocated and preparing for another shot.
OOC: I'll take the 1-hit, ACH (what with the PD and such), but a barrage is actually 10 missiles, for future reference. And a missile dump is 30, but that's an oh-shit-we're-fucked option.

Weapon production is spiking for unknown reasons,and condition got back to ORANGE [ Fleets are on stand-by,patrols are still frequent,but its not a full RED alert]
--------
MDE Long Range missiles are ready for deployment. The vast arsenal is being loaded on the battleships of the Antares-class and on special weapon plataforms to deploy it from long range
The construction of the Darkstar First dreadnought has begun on Draco!
It will be called Krishna-Class Dreadnought.
=================
Ship-Building in Draco is getting lower,the over-stress on the dry docks is dangerous. With an already sizable fleet,the dry-docks are building at a slower rate,ships of bigger classes like Cruisers and Escort carriers.

The Mobian aid has been gratefully accepted, even though it was not really necessary, seeing as the ZE has a surplus of resources.
A new series of military androids have been developed, and production has begun.
Notes on the Series 2 Military Androids:
[meta]Research has begun on an immense supership, which would possibly be constructed in a remote part of the WML galaxy to ensure secrecy[/meta]

Re: Where we Left Off[RP SUPER-THREADNOUGHT]
[Meta]Small adjustments have been made to the shield-phasing warheads to allow them to phase themselves inside the ship itself, doing catastrophic damage, and simultaneously making all possible forms of point defense ineffective save for FTL disruption. Though phasing warheads already mostly ignored point defense, there was a small window between phasing in and impact, enough time for the warheads to be shot down. Being a software upgrade, all warheads are being updated simultaneously. In addition, Dimensional Shielding units are being installed on all major worlds to thwart the Barrage Cannon. [/Meta]
Cuuyth: In two separate locations, the wreckage of the largest ships still floated through space. The Revile and the Particle, respectively. A light switched on in both ships, energy sparked, and the wreckage detonated in a Tachyon-Subspace explosion.
Ringworld: The largest ship completed the charging cycle of the David-class Tachyon-Subspace missiles as another ship detonated next to it. They weren't as powerful as the Goliath class, but still packed a large amount of power. The 15 missile tubes on its bow slid open, revealing a set of long, aerodynamic missiles. A glowing blue core sat on top of each, just under the nosecone. With a flash, they launched.
As they exited the barrel, they began to disappear in small flashes of light, one by one. The final 6 didn't make it; the shields of the ship failed as they exited, and they disintegrated in the dust storm.
The rest sped towards the Ringworld through subspace, each targeting a different portion.
Last known Stauros: Ships are being diverted to Ringworld.
Other systems: Ships are engaging forces and preparing to retreat.
TORUS: 2-way portal to the forces in core systems is being prepared for activation.

Re: Where we Left Off[RP SUPER-THREADNOUGHT]
Ships from nearby garrisons have begun to move to the Ringworld's defence.
Command Centre.
"Commander, Subspace Weapons detected!"
The base commander slammed a button, causing super shields to flare up all across the Ringworld, covering the 8 mountains. The dust storm slowed, then halted. The T/S missiles emerged from Subspace centimeters from the Ringworld, detonating instantly. Their explosion exposed large areas of super shield underworks, inside which gravitational generators flared up, drawing debris and dust into them to form a thin covering.
"Status report!"
"We read damage across the ring, but all the mountains read green."
The Commander pressed another button, lowering the shields. The dust storm began again, pulling in tonnes of the stuff. This being no longer as effective, the manipulation fields began seizing ships and hurling them around as parts of a massive debris cloud.
The T/S bombs over Cuuyth impact the super shield, which was raised promptly after enemy ship arrivals to protect the orbital infrastructure.

A 10-missile T/S barrage has been fired on the ringworld from the Sword of Damocles.
The fleets present have formed a defense screen around the AUF vessels, using their powerful main guns to keep smaller enemies away, and their missile bays to hit the larger targets from range.
[Meta] Several prowlers have been sent under stealth to various Strigiforme shipbuilding, industrial, and high-importance worlds. Their objective is to passively observe defenses.[/meta]

Strigiforme command to Novan and AUF Command
Cease your hostile actions, or we will act to destroy your major population centres. Remove all ships from our systems immediately.
Strigiforme message to Ringworld
Make ready to fire on Novus.
Stauros
"Charging the output, all systems green."
"Roger. We have the yellow light from command. Keep us ready to fire."
Ringworld
"Command says to keep our manipulators ready, but if we fire on Novus, we'll be defenseless until it is launched."
"If we're ordered to, we have to do it. Point defence can take the brunt off it."
Strigiforme forces in AUF and Novan territory have made some progress. They have taken several worlds with comparatively light casualties. The Barrage Cannon has begun firing high explosive rounds into civilian areas in response to the AUF and Novans killing millions of innocents on the Ringworld.

Re: Where we Left Off[RP SUPER-THREADNOUGHT]
The AUF 1st Armada, now on the front line, has successfully pushed back a Strigiforme fleet on several AUF worlds with minimal casualties. The 1st Armada is lead by the Emperor's Will, [meta]equipped with a powerful dimensional shield [/meta] and it will continue it's push along with the Second and Third Armada to push the Strigiforme out of AUF space.
Damage in most major civilian centers is minimal due to the standard planetary-shield generators for every city, but they cannot protect everything.
//AUF Broadcast\\
The AUF is only willing to negotiate if the Strigiforme are willing to completely disarm and remove the super-weapon composing the Strigiforme Ringworld. If the Strigiforme refuse to do so, the AUF will not back down.
For the time being, however, the AUF will pull back its forces in Strigiforme Territory.
\\END//
-The remaining AUF forces in Strig territory are retreating through Torus portals. Any Strigiforme ships that follow- and undoubtedly there are- are instantly torn to shreds by the Torus defensive guns.
[Meta]The Singularity Installation has been activated and has dispensed a singularity inside a secure container; operations on the Torus are underway to graft the canister with a shield-phasing warhead, to be launched from the Torus itself [/Meta]

Re: Where we Left Off[RP SUPER-THREADNOUGHT]
The Strigiforme forces in the AUF have begun retreating to Strigiforme borders, and the Council offers a formal ceasefire to begin peace negotiations towards the AUF. Strigiforme forces in Novan space continue their advance.
The 10 Novan warheads approach the Ringworld, passing through a war zone of near-light speed dust clouds, which destroy 4 of the missiles. The remaining 6 continue their approach, now entering point-defence range. The guns pick off another 3, leaving 3 missiles. By this time, the emergency missile proximity detector, which is on because there is a battle going on, has been activated, with shields going up to cover the 8 military bases. The 3 missiles impact, two taking out already destroyed areas, the third killing 2 million innocent hatchlings who all wanted to become international Red Cross doctors. Good job.
