We warned you previously. Now, the Novan Commonwealth declares a state of open war upon the Strigiforme Empire. The terms of the previous Novan-Strigiforme treaty are void.

Novan fleets have mobilized, with a total of 2 30-ship fleets heading to reinforce Hexalani territory and the remainder reinforcing Novan worlds.

Tachon-Subspace bombardment has begun, targeting both Barrage Cannon, the ringworld, Cuuyth orbital facilities, and several Strigiforme border worlds, most notably those acquired by the owls via the Treaty of Aquaria.

While Strigeforme are formal allies,planetary shields are raising as Darkstar military is raising all planets to RED alert. Military is fully prepared to retaliate any kind of intrusion,defenses are ready,and underground fallout shelters are being already preapred for emergency ocuppation. The shipment was not only of the Zuguthian automatons, but also included nearly a full battalion along with a few dozen tonnes of rations. All across the border, the planetary garrisons received aid in this way, all within a ten minute window.

Strigiforme message to all hostile empires

All enemy forces will stand down immediately, or you will face the destruction of all your major worlds.

Message to the Hexalani government

Terms of surrender:
-The Hexalani will perform the following actions
-Admit complete guilt for starting the current armed conflict
-Admit to attacking the Stauros
-Turn over 8 border systems to the Strigiforme
-Turn over the plans and documents of the weapon which fired on the Stauros
-Transport all members of the "equestrian" species to the Strigiforme, ban their living in Hexalani space, and delete all information on them including genetic records, historical data, ect.

In return, the Strigiforme will withdraw all forces in Hexalani systems and cease hostile action towards the Hexalani peoples.

Failure to comply will result in a declaration of unrestricted warfare on the Hexalani people, with possible destruction of all major Hexalani worlds.

Hexalan reminds the Strigiforme that the AUF found that a terrorist group had not only stolen Tachyon Subspace warheads and fired them on Stauros, but also used a NeoRoman surveillance system planted in Hexalani vessels to hijack them to continue the attack on Stauros. It was after these events and the confirmation of them that the Strigiforme performed an offensive invasion of Hexalan. The Strigiforme Nationalized Kingdom is asked to stand down, as not only is Hexalan not at fault, but it was the Strigiforme who started the war, and is thusly owed no reparations from the victim, especially after offered several times an offer very generous for the circumstances.

Over a small, airless moon, the space station floated, rotating gently in the void. Missile tubes and antennas dotted its surface; lights blinked gently in the dark.

The tubes opened, revealing their deadly payloads; massive cruise missiles.

As the silent roar of launching sounded, blue swirls, vortexes, appeared; the missiles guided themselves smoothly into the hyperslace windows, still accelerating.

Her barrage launched against the Strigiforme ringworld, the Sword of Damocles reset her targeting systems, poured power to her drives, and vanished in a massive flash of light.

"Commander, we have multiple signatures coming in from hyperspace!"

"Activate the Aegis, let none of them through!"

The hundreds of advanced point defence stations guarding the Ringworld opened fire, immediately destroying 2. The other 3(presumption) continued. One more was destroyed by the flak stations. A second, destroyed by the thousands of antimissile guns on the outer edge of the Ringworld. The third made it, detonating midway between two of the giant mountains. The explosion revealed a super-shield understructure holding the Ringworld together, keeping it from flying apart into space.

"Commander, one hit in area Dyytl. Orders?"

"Begin repair protocol, set barriers up to stop atmospheric leakages."

In deep space, magnetic spheres surrounded vast clouds of dust, and began dragging them towards the Ringworld. While unrefined, the dust would do for temporary repairs. Gravity generators in the super shield(it's a tube) activate on higher settings, pulling the dust in to form a new layer. Specialized repair ships in system move in, carrying slabs of metal to replace the outer edge of the ring. While damaged, the Ringworld remains operational.

Now, before you call BS, let me remind of some things:
1: Ringworld is massive; it's a ring around the entire Goldilocks zone of the star. Hitting an even spread on it and doing truly crippling damage will be difficult
2: It's reinforced with Super-Shield. This is something I talked to Fen about, it isn't just pulled out my ass.
3: Obviously, this being really expensive, there is a lot of flak

The Strigiforme will be handed over governance rights to 8 systems on the Strigo-Hexalan border. These systems while mostly useless, [meta]the applicable planets will have their Nets detonated as soon as the last Hexalani is off of it.[/meta] Until that point, no Strigiforme are allowed on the pertaining planets, but will have free right to immediately after.
Hexalan has issued a formal apology regarding their (supposed) aggression of the Strigiforme.

Metaishy: Due to the recent escalation of galactic war several piles of Red tape were promptly removed by Tajerian War Doctrine allowing immediate construction to start on the titan, To speed construction it will be built and assembled in sections allowing outsourcing of some of the work to 'trusted' corporations, Plans divide the ship into 75 large pieces some will require large amounts of work while others will be at most simple hangers. Work has begun on 3 central pieces by the government, 2 other sections contracts have been auctioned off to suitable quality Tajer corporations.

Despite the overkill on the Aiigaiion, a couple large pieces remained intact as they were flung away into suborbital trajectories. The remaining pieces of the Aiigaiion and other Strigiforme ships are currently being recovered by space and ground crews.

Strigiforme vessels are being escorted to the edge of Hexalani space, those allowed to remain are those picking up ground forces, but will be promptly escorted out as well as soon as they are done.

High-capacity vessels are being deployed to all worlds in order to pick up all Hexalani personnel and Zuguthian automatons. Residency of any Hexalani world is currently illegal, with any who wish to be being transferred to a Zuguthian world.

What remains of the manufactorums are being dedicated to producing manufactorum components, presumably to repair them. [meta]Actually to build what is currently 13 manufactorums in WLM. They will be done at the convenience of supply, the focus being on one-at-a-time in order to produce them as quickly as possible. Production of mini-ARK components is going well, and should be done sometime next month, freeing up capability.[/meta]

Third Generation ship designing is going well, the needed corvette and smallcraft models are done as well as most of the frigates and a cruiser. Visually, they are like latter Hexalani models, mixing both angular smooth. Primary weaponry revolves around Phoenix Cannons and Fusion Lances, with other weapons being whatever fits. Unlike nearly all Hexalani vessels, the majority are pure warships designed to take on other vessels in a direct fight, and are thusly designed accordingly with armor density and shield focus as well as weapon arcs. The few ships that are capable of carrying ground forces are made specifically so, with the frigate size being able to carry a bit over a battalion.
When production frees up, the fastest they (the frigates and corvettes) can get off the line is expected to be just over a month or so. In the case of capitals, that has yet to be discovered.

Upon the news of the Strigiforme's most recent actions against the Hexalan, including the deployment of a superweapon, the AUF has formerly declared war on the Strigiforme.

[META]AUF scientists, believing that the star itself is being used as a weapon, are looking into ways to completely counter the blast. The Torus is expected to be immune; the massive Dimensional shielding, combined with an extreme magnetic flux pulse from Antioch core, should be able to divert the blow, but no other world is secure.[/META]

8 fleets gathered around the ringworld, 8 highly fortified, highly advanced fleets. While other forces were engaging the Strigiforme border guards and worlds, they would be going in elsewhere. The Torus crystals fired up their familiar sequence of energy and movement, and 8 portals opened simultaneously in front of each crystal. The 8 fleets quickly flitted through and the portals closed behind them. They knew it was likely a one-way trip. But they went anyway. The wonders of the Zuguthian slave race reach far.

-8 Strigiforme Core worlds are being assaulted by AUF fleets, decently sized and highly advanced. Their tactics are to cripple vital infrastructure, deliver tactical blows, engage in hit-and-run tactics. They will also avoid direct confrontation with any defensive fleets if possible, and only as a last resort. The systems being assaulted are;

>Cuuyth (Portal just near the main shipyard)

>Ringworld system (Near the Ringworld)

>Last-known Stauros Location (where it was during Hex attack; presumed to be core system)

>Former Barrage Cannon location (The one that was destroyed)

>New Barrage Cannon location (The first, AUF doesn't know where second one is)

>3 other Strigiforme core worlds (IDK Ach, choose).

With the last living being off of the aforesaid yielded worlds, the five Flieghedt Nets were set off. Two are magma balls and the others are severely scoured. The eights systems now belong to the Strigiforme Nationalized Kingdom, and they may do with them as they please.
