I feel right now is a good time to give some info on the Strigiforme Empire's defences.

Obviously, every planet has some form of static defence; ground to space, space stations, ect. Most worlds also have a planetary super shield. All planets have some form of military garrison.

In addition to static listening and surveillance stations, the Strigiforme Empire has constant scouts spread out across their borders and internal areas. These ships, each a little larger than a bomber, number in the thousands and flit around the Strigiforme Empire watching for smugglers, pirates, immigrants, emigrants, ect. They individually only carry a few torpedoes and a laser cannon, but are in constant contact with Strigiforme Patrol Command, and can call for full military backup if they require it.

I feel a stealth drive is insufficient; hence why most use stealth ships.

One of the few guns turned towards the gunship and fired, hitting and detonating the mine that just flew out of its rear bay. As it exploded, the ship turned on its stealth generator. Shortly afterwards, it jumped out to an independent system not far away, where it would be then sold for a very good discount while the crew waited for pickup.
((I've been using drive as a synonym for generator, it isn't FTL capable. Also, as a refresher, the generator is a Darkster model, acquired on the black market. And the freighter is an old MQR model.))

Honestly, if you explode something within range, they are going to detect it and investigate. These are the border police type things, it is their job to stop this sort of shite.

Construction has begun on a massive Torus structure around the abandoned planet of Antioch. The Torus is designed to serve as a multirole shipyard, orbital defense platform, and weapons platform for use of the Antioch Reactor Core. This follows the cancelling of the hollowing of the nearby planet; the project ended after it was deemed unreasonable after only 34% has been hollowed. Instead, resources gained from the hollowing will be funneled to the Antioch Torus.

The Torus will be constructed in 8 ring sections across the AUF and towed into position. Antioch is also being mined and the energy core expanded and refined to interface with the torus through several energy links.
