They are not unstoppable, if you had read my post and mentioned that they were blocked by planetary shields, they would propably just have make an area near the planet unsave for travel. Your own fault here.

Re: Where we Left Off[RP THREADNOUGHT]
Ardoc stood before the large viewing port of the command center he had the crews install. It looked just as any other Hexalani vessel, it was easier to make too than essentially plating the entire interior.
"Corporal, are we ready?"
"Yes sir."
"Launch on my mark."
The Corporal nodded.
"3.. 2..."
"Releasing dock clamps, opening silo hatch."
"1..."
"Silo coils at maximum power, stabilizers at full thrust."
"Mark!"
The silo fired the station into space as it began to fire its ionic thrusters, all the way into a suborbital trajectory. There it met a tug which helped it into a safe orbit. It met the defensive fleet there.
((The silos are basically really wide MAC guns.))

ACH, Y U settle worlds that I pointed out are uninhabitable? You got the six bog-standard "airless rocks and gas giants" systems.
BIC.
[Meta] Distant Memory has begun her return from NGC 1300. Bear in mind, Fen, I'll study yer wormhole thing, and I know, no reproducing. And I'll even ignore the part where you failed singularity physics.
The jump drive production has been geared up, moving towards two ridiculously massive drives, each far more powerful than would be needed for even a Titan, but with the corresponding power cost.[/meta]
It has been pointed out to the Strigiforme that settling the six systems they recieved will put them well within Novan broadcast ange, and apologize for the cheesy re-run of Commander Planet.

Construction of wormhole gates connecting the Milky Way to Jade's galaxy are about halfway finished.
Research has begun on wormhole add-ons for ship-mounted missile launchers. If they out to be possible and feasible, they could potentially be used to attack the insides of ships, or at least to greatly increase the range of the missiles.

Re: Where we Left Off[RP THREADNOUGHT]
"I want full sweeps of all Strigiforme systems, and get me a comlink to Admiral Tharawn."
"Of course, sir."
Ardoc left the lowest of the three decks for his personal war room. In the room, a holographic Tharawn waited.
"Give me one reason to not report you to both the council and Admiral Scratchovski. And don't give me that technicality crap, we both know it won't hold up in a hearing."
"Just hear me out, Stauros is still a threat, and the Strigi could use it anytime they want to, and simulations have shown our defensive complexes won't protect our AIs."
Tharawn sighed, Ardoc was right.
"This thing plus both of our fleets and the Zuguthian detachment should be more than enough to crack it."
"Ardoc..."
"Will you give me command or not?"
"... you have 70 hours with them. Try and bring them home in one piece."
"Thank you and goodbye."

//AUF Message to: Hexalan//
Given the completion of the project, once again offer assistance in locating and attacking the Strigiforme construct and bringing it's shield down long enough for a direct shot to be taken. As you have noticed, military production has not slowed down; we anticipate a long conflict to take it down.
//END//
OOC: Error, I didn't fail singularity physics. The wormhole key, coupled with an FTL vector using a spacetime bubble, allows a ship to enter a black hole's event horizon intact. Normally, you would then fall into the singularity, as all points forwards in time point to it. Normally, wormholes connecting black holes are unstable and pinch off too slowly for any particle, light or otherwise, to pass through intact. However, the Key uses negative energy density imparted by use of the Casimir effect to stabilize the wormhole, while simultaneously using the ship's FTL drive to shoot it through the wormhole before impacting the singularity. This FTL speed allows it to exit the event horizon on the other side.

...So you're using an incredibly dense point in space to throw starships across intergalactic ranges?
I'll stick to ER jump drives, thanks.

<;\ Hexalani Transmission to AUF \;>
We once again appreciate your offer and do accept, however, the construct will be damaged by a surgical strike by Fleets 15 and 17 and the Zuguthian's Fleet 4. It is in my personal opinion they will not be enough, and do greatly appreciate your help in the further combat that will surely come of it.

Re: Where we Left Off[RP THREADNOUGHT]
Hey, I think you should note the following
-Sensors cannot have range beyond a few parsecs at maximum. This was established with Fen's sensor ships, and can be reasonably extended for stations, but not beyond reason.
-The Stauros is a roughly planet sized artificial object. It has a lot of point defence and a support fleet, and is constantly under a 4 shield unit super shield. It also is very large. It is currently located deep in Strigiforme territory, surrounded by heavily built up worlds with large shipyards and garrisons.

Re: Where we Left Off[RP THREADNOUGHT]
"Any progress?"
"Uh, no, sir. We couldn't pick up anything fitting the description on the exterior, and the interior just has too much interference. I'm sorry, sir, I don't think we're going to find it from here."
"Damn it!" Ardoc kicked an empty control seat as he cursed. "Wait... wait.. Get me a team on that stealth shuttle that that other team used, the one with the salvaged Darkstar drive."
"I'll see what I can do, sir, but-"
"No buts. We're on a time table now, it's only a matter of time before they know we have this station."
"Yes sir."

Message to UGC members. [Orion Imperium and Tajer]
I will start project Safehouse. The details are included in the file.
-----------------
Construction of Free Trade Stations on Draco Cluster are starting,. They aim to resupply ships, and generate income and jobs for colonists.
----------------
Research: A special alloy and a new ship to go with it. Final stages.
---------------
Construction of "border police" stations are on-going. The stations would have capacity to support a small number of strike craft, 4 frigates and the crew. This is to create a "early warning" system, increase sensor range and a better control of products going in or out of the system.
-------------
A special force was created. Equipped with the best resources, ships and personnel, the new Darkstar node holds control of the Reaper,Ghost,Poltergeist,Kage and even Spectre forces.
--------
OOC: im back! i was sick. Sorry;

Re: Where we Left Off[RP THREADNOUGHT]
A possible way to recover the scrambled AIs damaged by the Strigiforme is currently being tested; with luck and care, hopefully most of the AIs can be recovered.
Study of the Aurelian fusion lance batteries revealed they are fairly similar in function to a fusion coil splicer; production for other ships is underway.
[meta]Distant Memory is two days away.[/meta]

"I know you've already received your brief, but allow me to go over the plan again. You will infiltrate Strigiforme territory by way of the stealth drive, from there you must make your way close enough into the core systems, at the time where you are in the clear, you will begin sensor pings. We have no idea how many it'll take before they notice, but use them sparingly, you will also not be able to use the drive during and a short time after a ping, so do be careful. Your only objective is to locate the construct. Any questions?"
A collective 'no sir' sounded off.
"Good, now hop to."
The VTOL engines fired, lifting it off the deck as it rotated them forwards, speeding the gunship off.
