ooc: I THINK that is valid,we are building it for a long time, and i poured a hell of a lot of resources to get this frikking gate UP.

Strigiforme forces from the MQR front are being routed through the Serpentis jump gate to the Novan front. These ships will hopefully bolster the offensive. Additionally, more troopships have jumped into the Novus system under a super shield, and will remain under the shield until they begin atmospheric entry.

"What's the status on the project?"
"Well, we've determined it has two main weapons, they each seem to have their strengths and weaknesses against targets. We suspect one is a shield buster of sorts while the other is anti-material in nature. Current projections estimate we can make 3 shots before the system overloads. But construction is going far better than it otherwise would, we've even been able to stash some of the excess materials, replenishing some of our stockpiles."
"Let's just hope three shots is all we'll need." The Admiral hung up and stared at the darkened screen, now alone he spoke aloud, "The owls made a big mistake leaving us alone," he said as he sat down the glass of what the assistant had claimed to be whiskey. He'd have dealt with her, but Ardoc didn't want to waste the ammunition.

Please note that it has a super shield up. I think I said this earlier, but it does. This thing is obviously too precious to take even a slight risk with. Additionally, do note that it is roughly the size of a planet.

OOC: Please note that despite this being like ~20% of the size of the original (the mini is only about 200-250m in diameter), it mounts weapons only half size of the original. And that they were made to stall an invading force more powerful than any of us. While it may or may not be able to take out Stauros and/or its shield, it will do some damage. The extent to which is up to Fenway, as ARK-tech is under his authority nowadays.
OOC META: After firing its shots, the station won't be able to maintain a stable orbit over Primaris. Leading to, among other things, the total loss of the design.

[META] The Antioch core reactor has been successfully connected to an energy relay network, constructed by the NeoRomans and abandoned with the removal of Vortex Station. The network spans through most of the sector, and should be easily able to transfer power to any point in the galaxy. Unfortunately, the reactor cannot be weaponized in any capacity, as the energy is transmitted in a hyper-compact, low impulse beam that does not interact as a weapon properly. [/META]

L. Jahgrin was leaning back in is chair, watching the output sensor feed on the window in front of him. Both the chair and the entire ship command station around him were extremely high tech; composed of sleek, light gray metal, utilizing very angular shapes. Rectangular panels on the trapezoid-shaped bridge's wall glowed a soft blue, illustrating the energy conduits that ran the length of the entire ship. The room held three rows of computer terminals, each equipped with transparent monitor screens. The bridge window, looking out into the depths of space, was also equipped with these screens, and thus served a dual purpose; a HUD display combined with the monitoring functions. Multiple officers behind him were working on the terminals, analyzing sensor feeds and re-configuring the data alongside the hyperspace AI's aboard the ship. A highly efficient pair. They were dressed in gray clothing with red highlights. It was a gray slightly darker than the metal that composed the bridge, but much brighter than the dark grey, course floor plating. This plating served as both a floor and as life support. It exchanged air, heated the rooms. It also provided the rooms with gravity, alongside the normal gravity generator; individual rooms could be cycled on and off, and it could take over in the event that the generator failed.

Jahgrin motioned with his right hand, and a circular slot on the chair opened up. Within a few seconds, a metal bottle filled with water appeared in the slot. Jahgrin picked up the water and took a sip, still eyeing the sensor feed. Beyond the feed itself, imprinted on the glass, a planet rolled below, barely the size of a marble. It boasted white clouds, large blue oceans, rocky continents. It possessed a strong magnetic field, a large moon, and an axial tilt. It was a garden world, and indeed it supported life; but no sentient life. Which made it interesting, especially considering the presence of an ARK station in the system. They were conducting a full sensor sweep of the area, looking for satellites, ships, any sign of civilization. So far, nothing. All across NGC 1300, similar ships were conducting similar surveys, with little luck. This particular survey was being conducted on the edge of the galaxy, far away enough that the entire galaxy was spread out in the sky, sprawled and visible through the entire system.

The screen scrolled through the data relatively fast, briefly highlighting each point before moving on to the next, looking for signs of civilization. As Jahgrin watched, it stopped on one particular point. It began flashing. Jahgrin stood up and motioned with his left hand, and the window switched to show the details of the point. Two subspace contacts, not NeoRoman, heading towards the system. After a few seconds, it updated to reflect their velocity; moving in from outside the galaxy. Internally, Jahgrin was both annoyed and intrigued; definitely not part of their mission, but still highly important. One of the officers behind him stood up and walked up to him. "Jahgrin, we've pinged the contact and received a response," he said.

"Do you have the IFF?" Jahgrin asked.

"It's a Novan Commonwealth vessel."

"Why would they be out here?" Jahgrin asked aloud. He shook his head. "It doesn't matter. Prepare to contact them." The officer returned to his post, and the chair behind him slid into the floor. A floor plate slid over it's place once it fully retracted, completely hiding it from view. Jahgrin motioned with both hands, and the window changed to reflect a video communication window. He dialed the Novan ships using several motioning and awaited a response.

"Sir, incoming message!"
"From who?"
"Looks to be Mr. Korriman, sir. He requests our aid."
"Well, looks like we're going to head out. Inform the other 7 fleets, they'll want them too."
"Yes sir. Should we inform command?"
"No, they knew our deployment was temporary, they won't need or miss us."
"Acknowledged, sir. Oh, and, message relayed. They're warming up their drives."
"Tell them to hurry, they've held out this long, but not without losses."
"Any standing orders?"
"Defensive formations, we're bolstering their line, that's all."
The ensign nodded as they pulled exited the parking orbit.

OOC: Error decided to finally read.

The MR has made a peace deal with the Tajer.
A container with the pay-off has been sent to them.
The MR fleet is still approaching the Orion, though a small group of ships surrounding the bunker-ship has broken off from the rest and is now heading towards Mobius.

Fleet composition:
Spoiler:
1 Mobocarrier-class retrofit Dreadnaught
5 Mobocarrier-class Dreadnaughts
7 Major-class Battlecruisers
8 Manta-class Battlecruisers

68 Halberd-class Destroyers
106 Minor-class Frigates
45 Minor-P-class Psionic Warfare Frigates
50 Crimson-class missile frigates
23 Fox-class support frigates
175 Mako-class Corvettes
138 Freedom-class pinnaces

Strikecarft:

Old Mobocarriers carry about 200 light bomber drones.
Sawfish-class cruisers carry one wing of multirole strikecraft each.
Typhoon-class Strike Cruisers carry two flights of multirole strikecraft each.
Helberd-class Destroyers carry one Squadron of multirole strikecraft each.
Fox-class support frigates carry one flight of multirole strikecraft each.

MR strikecraft organization:
4 strikecraft = 1 flight
5 flights (20 craft) = 1 squadron

CNBC Broadcast:
There has been a recent and steep decline in sales of Galactic Warfare II: Stellar Flight in the Expanses and surrounding area as gamers complain that "the game's outdated, I mean, NeoRome's still a playable faction!" and "it's Carthaic translations are horrible, several pieces of key dialogue are pure gibberish." Players of the game's Hexlan Expanses faction also are bringing up complaints of large losses of ingame currency as their casualties mount, claiming that "they're unbalanced." Military veterans applaud its authenticity and realism.

The Orion Fleet has broken off the attack, as peace with Darkstar and the Strigiforme means peace with the Imperium. All fleets have taken up positions around Imperial space.

The incoming Hexalani fleets have been requested to split, with 70% (fleet commander chooses the ships, advise defensive) going towads Novus to stall the Strigiforme and the remainder joining the attack fleet currently fighting for / retaking Aerila.

OOC, ACH, not sure why you're not commenting on them, but you've taken a couple of Tachyon-Subslace bombs (did not originate in the Commonwealth), and apparently nothing occurred; as Fen said, they tear holes in subspace. Damage will occur.

//Arkship Distant Memory, near NGC 1300; 14"50 NST, December 16th, 2752//

"Admiral, incoming hyperpulse from... NeoRomans. We're getting a request for a real-time link."

Lady Admiral Mayala glanced across the CIC. "Put them through, and relay the data packet."

The packet, a compressed log of the recent... events... in their home galaxy, was relayed. The video link opened; May was unsurprised to see Jahgrin on-screen, a large chair surrounding him.

"Jahgrin. Good to see you again."
