ARCHMAGE is a dreadnought sized wormholegate capable of producing an unstable wormhole up to 40 million light years. Cruiser sized ships can be fit through this wormhole, if a stabizing gate is built on the otherside the full width of the gate can be used.

Dramatic fluff:
In the binary system sat a massive gate with a swarm of ships about it, one noticible ship would be a be long snakelike one poised right in front of the gate, This was a collapsed stabalizing gate that would be sent through to complete the connection.
After some cool countdown sounding procedures the gate sprung to life with a swirl cool looking vortex, The long snake like ship started through the portal and disappeared among the other side.

DRACO GROUP:
Out of a small wormhole that appear came the long snakelike ship, once through it began expanding back Ito a circular shape, some hours later the final section clinked into place around the wormhole and let it expand till it reach the borders of the gate.
A message sent back to the Milkyway through a communications line connected through the wormhole alerted the science fleet.
The group appeared through and moved off to explore for new life, money opertunities, and territory.

Yes and no ACH. Travel outside the local group is possible; NGC 1300 is 61 million light years away, and the NeoRomans are there. But no to Tajer because there was no indication whatsoever of you going through this endeavor at all. You can't just decide to fuck off to 40 million LY away; the NeoRomans built a one-time use quantum singularity gate to get to NGC 1300, later made a stable one after a couple years, then went into exile and destroyed(?) the gate behind them.

The archangel is basically a giant dreadnought with the middle cut out and replaced with a ring, placed between two stars in a binary system and filled with a basic defense system but mostly wormhole junk.
The Tajers 'special tech' is "Hyperfold gates" which is basically a wormhole gate, The Tajer have a setup of system to system jump gates inside their territory. So they have experience of fucking with gates a lot.
I originally planned it to finish in like page 90 somewhere, but the war have me an excuse to speed it up with accelerated counstruction and Darkstars help even more so.

Constructing inter-system gates is one thing.
Constructing a gate that sends you to another cluster based on tech that so far hasn't been used beyond something in the 5-digit lightyear range (which I guess is what your territory is) with less than a year of development time and taking less than 2 in-game years to even construct the energy production/capacitors needed to operate this thing is ridiculously overpowered, especially considering the Tajer only fairly recently even made contact with the galactiv community. You basically built it within the timespan of a war. I call OP on that.
Maqybe it'll get you to some galaxy in the local cluster, but not beyond.

There is no set time for posts, it's all plot relative, It's been 25 pages since the start of the project, that's just under half the time the strigiforme built there super weapon relative to the start of the thread. I've seen somewhere in here dreadnoughts refitted and some others were definantly built in less time then this.
It's not as if there aren't other unspoken races in the galaxy and we don't just stare at the wall if we don't know the main RP factions.
The Tajer don't need "development" they've used gates since starship travel become common. They outa know a good deal about making gates, and it's not like half the people here don't have the tech to do this, they just havnt had a reason to build a biggas gate to another cluster.
It's a giant ring that takes us to other places, what's with the dislike of travel, it's not like we made a system destroying laser.
