In orbit, the CSN ships used their nuclear authorization to the fullest, throwing the high-yield weapons into enemy formations and capital ships. With several destroyers, a cruiser, and two frigates crippled, and one battlecarrier damaged, the remaining vessels have cut loose with their Phoenix cannon, focusing on single targets; very little could survive over thirty of the deadly beams at once.

Ground forces have completely stonewalled the landed Strigiforme, and in the city of Melbourne, the planetary anti-fleet Phoenix cannon have been activated; considerably more powerful than their ship-borne variants, these were meant to tear apart battleships with ease. Time to test this theory.

OOC: If you want to effectively destroy every single platform on the planets, you'd still have to halt for longer than you seemed to be. But let's say you just bombed everything and now it's a mess. The remaining planetary defenses might be able to effect your supply lines tho, and maybe a one-digit number of total ships lost, considering the Strigiforme shields.

The MQR has surrendered to the Strigiforme and Darkst
The Darkstar ships, which have already contacted the MQR, have been delivered the payment required for peace, a large shipment of psionic drives, essentially energy cells, capable of significantly enhancing psionic abilities if used by psi-ops.

The Strigiforme have been more demanding.
Equestria and 12 border systems have been ceded to them and they are going to take over all Equestrian personell.
Due to this and the Equestrian refuge colonies being politically independent, a major lack of workforce in the MQR is likely to attract immigrants from all over the galaxy.
The refuges in the Andromeda Galaxy will also not be able to return anytime soon, as they could only be reached via the Novan warpgate, which is currently disabled.
also, oddly enough, the MQR is to delete all records of Equestrians ever existing and remove the Equestrian reference in their name, calling themselves from now on simply the "Mobian Republic".

This move will likely remove Equestrians from this galaxy forever, and it is unknown what drove the government to such a decision.
In other news, the SGM has resigned, and new elections are expected to be organized soon.

The Eclipse Cannon has fired on one of the Orion fleets, destroying a dreadnaught and several smaller ships. some ships have also started towing the HARMONY to Mobius, as Equestria is no longer part of MR territory. The rest of the unified fleet is engaging the Orion forces, attempting to strike a small portion of their fleet with the unified power of the MR fleets, gaining victory.

The Tajer fleet pulls back into the edge of Darkstar space awaiting new orders.

Biological advancement of the Teramoss as it is now called is advancing well, Tests have shown it to be resistant to space and capable of degrading multiple types of rock.
Research among Biotechnology is being added on, The AI project some time back is being merged in with research.

Several ships, all damaged slightly, dropped to a lower orbit, their cargo bays opening to release dozens of large pods; drop pods. They then began firing tier laser arrays to the surface, and while their shields absorbed heavy flak fire, they still rendered almost 80 of miles of city and countryside to glass. They then rose back into the fight, joining another group which had just done the same and moving to pursue an enemy formation.

The Aiigaiion, in a higher orbit, was tearing apart other ships. Her high-strength shields, a prototype version, and her newly upgraded weapons systems and advanced CIWS allowed her to fight enemy formations even without the accompaniment of her support fleet. The Aiigaiion opened its missile bays, firing a dozen missiles, which then splintered into 8 warheads each, independently targeting ships and tearing down their shields and opening massive rents in their hulls, if not outright destroying them.

Unarmed Strigiforme transport ships have begun to move to MR worlds to collect Equestrians. Strigiforme fleets have begun pulling out of MR systems and moving either to Equestria or to the Strigiforme border.

Please note that the Novans are heavily outnumbered, and have been brought down to roughly the same tech level as the Strigiforme, who have the advantage of experience and a super ship. Also note that while 30 Phalanx cannons would tear down most shields, the Strigiforme don't go off alone, and have equal range with their missiles.

Counstruction of the main system is complete, The finishing touches on Stabalizer are being completed and the main project is being fueled and spun up for prestart saftey testing.

The fleets over Novus, taking mounting damage, have fallen back to a lower orbit and have taken to long-range sniping and anti-missile defense. Fighters have begun bombing attacks on the ground forces, and two of the ships have executed precision tac-nuke strikes on the Strigiforme landing areas.

Over Cuuyth, all but 4 Prowlers have left; the remainder are still hidden.

The MQR refugees in Andromeda have been offered Commonwealth protection and/or membership; the defense platforms in Long Reach have been repositioned to protect high-population areas.

OOC, ACH, I said Phoenix, not Phalanx; a Phoenix cannon fires a beam of superheated metal at something approaching 2500 km/s, so unless your shields are ALL super shields, the ships are hurting a tad more than "shields down".
